Riddle me this: Why are Nurkic and Durant still on the floor in a 20+ differential game with three and a half to go? Does Vogel want to tempt fate?

And naturally, as I type, Vogel finally takes them out.

It's amazing how you can really view how good your team is more appropriately when you are not missing your best player (or one of best two). Of course shooting 56% from 3 helps, and limiting to 8 turnovers, but everyone seems to play better when Book is there. Of course I guess it's just one game and Book's last one was our worst game, but it's a good sign moving forward hopefully.

Our 4th quarter still looks like our regular 4th quarters but just a bit less sucky. And thank goodness we built a massive 28pt buffer.

Good thing is that our team does look significantly better with Book out there and he solves a lot of our issues (no ****)

I was just wondering that about KD...that seems absurd.

Now I'm left to wonder why Bol, for all the hype and talk of how great a contributor he'd be for our team, is still sitting on the bench. They could take Watanabe out as he's had sufficient run tonight. Good to see Little et al get some action though.

Big 3: 0-0
Book/KD: 2-1
Book/Beal: 0-0
Beal/KD: 1-2
KD: 2-3
Book: 0-0
Beal: 0-0

Total: 5-6
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yeah, but when it was still over 20 with a little over 4 minutes, I thought we were safe.

Yay. Looked great, little turnovers, high energy, kept them at bay once they had a big lead. No complaints.

Book with a casual 31 in 26min. He's probably somewhere between a guy like Donte DiVincenzo and Kris Dunn right now. If he plays any better, he'd be starting for the Shanghai Sharks!

What makes this team is Book and KD on the court at the same time. In the KD only games, had you switched KD with Book, I don’t think they would have done much better, if at all.

Correct. We were undefeated in the reg season when KD+Book played, plus took 2 games off the Nuggets even though we had easily the worst 3-12 in the playoffs after CP got hurt.

Long as KD and Booker are out there we will be fine.

Yeah, not bad. It is strange, looking at the box score though, even though I don't think these are particularly meaningful for 1 game, that his +/- tonight was 0.

Yeah, but when it was still over 20 with a little over 4 minutes, I thought we were safe.

Our issue isn't just a few mistakes in the clutch, it's a snowballing effect. A couple of TO's turns into massive momentum for the other team which leads to us getting into our own heads and turning it over more and in a blink of an eye, it could've been a 10pt game with plenty of time left.

And Book was also done for the night so we're basically closing the game with the same line up that has regularly scored under 25pts in the 4th.

Big win against a very good team. Big win at home. Big win for Book's return. I don't think we're leaving things to chance

It's shameful he still has two calves. Him holding on to that weakness is going to cost us DEARLY!
