We don’t need wins we need championships and sadly our team took 8 steps forward and 24 steps backwards since Ishbia days.
While what you say is true, so is what I said. In order to get to a championship game, you've got to get to the playoffs first and that requires... wins.

The road is long. We're already a third of the way through the season and while a championship would fix a lot, we've got to put ourselves into position to even compete for one. At this point, we aren't close.

I’m waiting for the trade deadline only about a month away. Maybe just maybe this season isn’t wasted and we can get rid of few players and add some decent defenders (Caruso possibly?) to help us to at least get in top 13-15 in defense.

Finally OVERATED gave Goodwin's minutes to Saben Lee. Saben did nothing special but nothing bad either. He kept the ball moving. He needs to replace Goodwin in the rotation until he plays himself out of the rotation.

Likewise for Azubuike. I have been wanting Saben to be given a chance since the beginning of the season.

They should stay in the rotation while Goodwin and Eubanks stay on the bench as cheerleaders.

Sabens 3pt shot is so awful though, as soon as teams realize he won’t be guarded at all.

If only we had Payne still…

Total team win.

☄️ KD Triple-Double
☄️ EG Season-High in points and threes
☄️ Held opponent to 41.7% shooting

Hear from Head Coach Frank Vogel in the locker room after last night's win!

Already seen a few of these post game clips where Vogel sounds like a player superfan. It's ok when a coach prises the players though sometimes they deserve more of :

I don't like at all this type of "old school" coaches.
The disrespect is for real and I think that has no place in any profession.

No need to go to such extremes, but I'll take Obradovic/Popovich rather than a cheerleader/babysitter/yoga therapist type of coach.

Caruso is definitely out of our reach. He'd be a nice, solid get... but we've got no capital in terms of future assets.

here at balkans, athletes dont view it as disrespect, its simply coaching (as an athlete, dont be a pussy, listen and do as told)

in the us, however, that kind of coaching wouldnt be acceptable (unless youre pop i guess), players have too much power

european bball and everything that goes with it (especially in the balkans) and the nba are two different worlds

At least Eddie Johnson agrees with me. He thinks Saben brings a lot to the table. I would rather see Saben driving to the hoop or passing then watching Okobe and Goodwin brick wide open 3 pointers.

Azubuike is a breath of fresh air along with Saben.

We definitely played better and more focused defense.

Did you feel this was our best win/game of the season or was it against the Twolves?

They played last night too, though young guys shouldn't have too much trouble on a b2b...though they had 3 guys at 34 minutes or over last night..34, 37, 40.

They didn't play anyone over 29 minutes tonight.

Ah that explains it. I realized after I posted it that guys like FVV and Brooks aren’t young anyway either.
