Probably just a cold stretch. We've seen it from Crowder, Booker, Beal, O'Neale, Paul, etc.

even towards the end of last season after the trade, Mikal had some rough shooting games, just not quite this bad.

2/25 in three games? I doubt any of those players have had a cold stretch like that.

I remember Channing Frye being absolutely cold in one playoff run, that can be similar to this one from Mikal.

Not that bad...but some bad stretches. Crowder was 2/22 at one point in the playoffs I think. Book had a stretch of 4/23 a few games before his injury last year and when he got back he went 8/35 for 6 games or 3/18 in the last 3...then the last few games last season and first game of playoffs he was 6/32. Not quite as bad but pretty cold stretches for a number of games between 17-23% for 4-6 game stretches. He gets very streaky....like will be really bad from 3 for a small stretch and then really hot for a stretch....like 20% for awhile and then 50% when he gets hot and settles in at his career avg of around 35%

There's a vocal minority of Nets fan (I think it's still a minority) who are really turning on the Twins. Between Mikal taking a bit of a step back in his production/development/defense and Cam going through a pretty rough 2024 so far (while being overpaid), Nets fans aren't enjoying the Twins experience much this season.

Kings just got outscored in the 4th by the Bulls at home 36-20. Bucks beat the Clippers, and Lakers are up 20 to the Thunder. Not a bad non-Phoenix Suns day of basketball.

Losing to OKC who lost to Lakers is a pretty bad outcome. We are not catching OKC but can easily end fighting with Lakers for 8th.

Kings are the most inconsistent team out of all playoff level teams which is surprising as they kept same team that finished 2nd last season.

I'd rather OKC have won because there is a better chance the Lakers catch us then OKC dropping.

OKC forced the Lakers into 20 turnovers so they had just about as bad as night as we did turning it over but the Lakers outrebounded them by 17 and shot 47% from 3. OKC shot poorly overall. Plus, the Lakers, as usual, had a lot more free throws.

OKC was also on the 2nd night of a b2b.

I think the Thunder are still the better team.

Gotta hand it to Nick Nurse keeping his squad playing well when they are starting Lowry, Payne, Hield, Harris and Mo Bamba, with like Batum and Oubre off the bench.

Mavs at full strength and the new additions with a great box-score yet the team gets blown out at home. Luka and Kyrie with the usual 70pts combined. Their defense must be awful.

Indy just shot really well. They were like 46% from 3 on a lot of shots and 60% from 2.

Biggest shock of the night is Sengun manhandling Wemby. Sengun had 45, 16. 5 steals, 3 assists and a block.

Wemby with 10 on 4/10 shooting, 11 boards, 6 turnovers and 3 assists. He did have 7 blocks though.

I thought Kidd was a decent coach, but I've seen a lot of Mavs fans mention he is terrible and that he should have been fired after last season. Sengun definitely looks like a smaller version of Pau Gasol.

Yeah, I don't really get the Kidd hate that much. I saw a ton of complaining for a long time when they were missing Kyrie. It's not like they have great players aside from those 2. But they have lost 5 of 6....tough schedule though...BOS, CLE, INDY on the road, and now Indy at home. Their only bad loss in the stretch is to Philly at home without Embiid.

Back to 6th place after Kings lost. A lot of people may not get excited about the team but the intrigue around last playoff spots in WC is rather interesting. We play NOP twice, Kings game has potential to be of great importance. Mavs play each of Kings and Warriors twice.

Wow. The Mavs are currently getting destroyed by the Clippers WITHOUT Kawhi. At halftime the score is 30-54.

I wish we had Tyron Lue as our head coach.

Clippers have a bunch of iso players like Harden, Westbrook, George etc yet they still have WAY better ball movement than the Suns do.

You can’t say they are a bunch of iso players anymore. Tyron Lue changed that culture they are no longer iso players, but team players who bought into Lue’s system. I’d cut my balls off to have Lue as our coach.

Harden is an underrated playmaker. 8/1 a/to in a high pressure game. He was also draining 3s like in his best years. He clearly outplayed Luka in this game despite Doncic filling the box score as usual, but in an inefficient way. If Kawhi returns in a good form the Clippers may very well be the top favourite.

I see Celtics, Clippers, Nuggets in that particular order in terms of winning a title. If Clippers are healthy they will be a major problem for the Nuggets/Celtics to handle. Suns on the other hand suck donkey balls.

by handsome salary
Clippers get a championship before the Suns...why not. Already watched the Raps, Nugs and Cavs do it.
