I look forward to the NBA saying that the flagrant on Nurkic should have been a common foul.

One again, the officials directly impacting a game and crucially in the final minutes. And the NBA wonders why fans don't feel there's integrity with their referees? This game is but one of many examples where highly questionable calls spoiled it.

The Suns got a lot more free throws than Denver but I didn’t understand the officiating tonight. A lot of big calls went to Denver. KD gets hacked every time he attempts a shot.

Small sample size but I think the main difference between the games with only KD vs the games with only Booker - KD just doesn’t have the energy, at this point in his career, to play 38+ minutes while also being the sole focus from opposing defenses the entire night, and that’s expected. He does when another star is also playing, like those Utah games. Although tonight it looked like he just missed shots.

Don’t really care who is better. We need both. And Beal too.

Disappointing loss with Nurk playing like a part of Big 4, but even low level role players excel in DEN's system while ISO ball often turns into bricks. Hopefully Kings will take them down tomorrow and we win vs Grizz. If health improves maybe there is some chance finishing above DEN in the standings, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I’d be interested to see what it is with and without Booker. The efficiency in particular. We are going nowhere without both anyway. Just like the Nuggets are going nowhere without Joker and Murray.

If you play less than ~40 minutes of pathetic defense then a call or two here and there dont really matter.

Some terrible calls in the 4th, but ultimately we lost the game because our defense was just horrendous in the 1st half.

Not too bummed about our offense, that'll click once Book is back, and hopefully will be dynamite once Beal is back too. But we really need to have a long-term solution for our defensive woes.

Defensive rating of 114.4 which is 18th best in the league isn't good enough for a title contender. It's not likely to get better with Beal in the starting lineup either. I don't think we can get away with Allen in that starting lineup either - he's ok defensively, but we desperately need a consistent stopper in that starting lineup next to the big 3 in the playoffs.

Trading for Caruso is the best solution if we can pull it off. We should hope that the growth Little and Goodwin have shown is good enough for them to be an attractive package for Caruso.

Little, Goodwin, Bol Bol for Caruso, Craig would be perfect. Caruso is the ideal 5th starter next to the big 3, and majorly solves our problem of POA defense. I'd also trust Craig a lot more in the playoffs than KBD or Yuta. Plus it'd be great fun to trade for Craig for the 3rd time in 3 years.

Caruso is their most valuable trade asset currently on their roster right now, I would think they want multiple 1st rounders for rebuilding.
