Allen was the only guy ready to deal with the energy/physicality when he had the ball. Sucks to just get straight son'd by the varsity team who's just bigger/stronger/faster.

Lebron teams just have a different rulebook, and being the Lakers just elevates that. Suns gotta realize that from tip and they’ll put them away easily, can’t just assume you’ll get a fair whistle in the clutch against them. But the Suns lost this game more than the refs gave it to the Lakers and even more than the Lakers earned it. Whatever, on to the next.

Hate to break it to all of us, but this team is not seriously contending for a title as things are now. Things can always change, but I haven't really even seen flashes of good enough basketball 1/4 of the way through the season.

Same story, different year. The roster is fatally flawed and the group has zero cohesion on either end.

I guess we can try to enjoy the ride to the same old destination. At least they'll sell tickets.

Suns need to remember this and just start annihilating teams. Be pissed. Don't give the refs as much of a day in the outcome. Suns should sue the leahue over this travesty of officiating though.

We got robbed by officiating but I am beyond tired of this unbelievably **** coaching and complete lack of focus / discipline this team has.

Lakers shaded Book and KD so much the entire game and especially the first half that all 3 of the opposite side players had free runs to the rim on the offensive glass. Instead, we had all 3 guys go back in transition every single play.

We can't be bothered to get on the defensive glass either, and we routinely turn the ball over passing it directly to the opponent, or passing it softly while not having the receiver come to the ball. These lazy passes and half assed decisions are the key to the season for our underachievement.

Then we have a raging hot KD who cannot miss and Book who is coming on in the 4th and we choose to run a post up for Nurkic with no offensive rebounders against AD where he has to back in from outside the paint and when he is shooting 25% from the line and has no touch today.

What the flying **** is our coaching staff doing?

If we played with consistent effort and focus we'd have maybe 2 losses this season. What concerns me so much about this team is the lack of embarassment by games like this. This should never happen to an NBA team more than once as far as getting annihilated on the boards while turning it over 50 times.
