It's great to see Book playing as a finisher and get into his spots early. The narrative around him won't change but I'm proud of him and I'm glad he's on a Suns uniform. He didn't make this game into a personal pissing contest. Just went there and hooped.

I believe Mavs lost the control when they tried to be cute. Luka and Hardaway Jr. wanted to show off at the end of 2nd quarter and that's when they lost the lead.

Winning despite KD scoring only 12 is nice but only 10 shots for him still seems off to me. I realize that Book was going off but still I thought the team can create some better looks for KD.

Okogie is a double edged sword. He was horrendous in the first half but played some great defence and created a huge difference. I like him being the roller on the small ball. He makes some mistakes when he got the ball from ballhandlers when they got doubled but at least it's better than him standing on the corner. Opponents just don't defend him and it really messes up the spacing when he's a shooter. He should roll the rim more. Dude is a tank. It would create space for the shooters.

Underrated performances from Beal and KBD.

I still believe they're wasting a lot of possessions and there are too many unforced errors but It's good to see some sort of a structure recently. Even when Mavs were shooting the lights out and up ahead. I believe Suns were playing ok.

I'm talking about 2-man with KD/Nurk using KD as the primary, which it is like 80% of the time they've gone to it. Since Nurk doesn't have lift anymore they can't attack the hoop with it the other way around unless the gravity of the Big 3 has him open considerably.

Ever since Beal is back Nurk isn't being looked to for offense so there's nothing really to be trippin' about.

That's fair.Funny thing is, you're probably my favorite poster here.I tend to agree with you on most things.Nurk just makes me nervous. He's like a drunken master out there.

Clumsy at times for sure lol. I think it's just the toll of all the lower leg injuries he's been thru. I still think he could benefit from shedding another 15-20lbs.

P.S. appreciate the compliment bruh!

Stats show that KD and Nurkic are great on a 2-man game.

KD has assisted Nurkic on 48 buckets so far this season. Most assists to any teammate, next one is Book with 38.

And Nurkic has assisted KD on... 48 baskets too!

The combination and chemistry between them is beautiful and is getting better and better...just remember the final shot against the Bulls.

Hey, I was gonna post that.

Nice to hear names off the bench (Okogie, KBD) in conjunction with great plays and needed baskets. KD is a defender.

I hope "Get on the treadmill" really gains life.

Absolutely not. Nor does he care to ever try to be that guy.

Always love beating the Mavs. Makes living in Dallas that much sweeter for a few days when the locals stop chirping lol

It's so fun having Booker and KD take turns dropping 40 meanwhile Brad Beal is just chillin and dropping 20/5/5 every night. Keep it rolling.

Can you imagine if Book did this in a blowout loss? It would be brought up years later and he’d never hear the end of it.

Man that's one of the softest ejections I've seen. Up there with Tim Duncan getting thrown out by Crawford for laughing.

He's made like 3 passes like that ever and then the fans make it seem like he's some sort of great passing big lol

Passing it to a wide open corner 3pt shooter when you're getting crowded in the paint is a pretty standard pass in today's NBA. Hardly noteworthy but to some, it was DA had Jokic-lite passing abilities or something
