Chip?

We aren’t winning anything with the way our roster is constructed. We don’t have a reliable pg to slow down the game in the 4th quarter. No NBA team ever makes the finals by being bottom 5-7 in TO’s. This team isn’t anything special everyone was fooled when suns went on a couple nice winning streaks. But deep down die hard fans know that this team is DONE!

Well we have to believe in something....so im all for the rise of Bol....lol

On a positive note Suns won Q4. Lol. Now if they start playing four quarters they are winning the chip.

Beal's Cumulative Record: 19-11 (63% win rate)
Booker's Cumulative Record: 29-18 (62% win rate)
KD's Cumulative Record: 28-22 (56% win rate)
Big 3's record: 14-8 (64% win rate)
2/Big 3's record: 15-11 (58% win rate)
Solo Star record: 4-5 (44% win rate)
Overall: 33-24 (58% win rate)

Perusing BBRef's 5-man lineup combos, we've only had 5 positive lineups with 3/5 starters, and of those only 1 with 2/5 starters:
Goodwin/Okogie/Allen/KD/Nurk
Gordon/Okogie/Allen/KD/Nurk
Booker/Okogie/Gordon/KBD/Nurk
Booker/Allen/Gordon/KBD/Nurk
KD/Allen/Gordon/KBD/Nurk
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Just finished...
Man, I hate that f*cking Isoball! Why can't we just move the ball??? Got a good 4th quater, until Frank brings back the starters with 3 Minute left at -1 I think. Than Book bricks 3 shots in a row, although he knew he had a bad night. Why not finishing with the group who made the comeback?

We just need to start adding legitimate size, length, athleticism, aggresssiveness (young hungry players with something to prove and a chip on their shoulder perhaps. And cost effective high end shooters and athletic lockdown defenders with energy. Some might say how can we do that when we have almost no assets or cap space left!!!

And I say it can be done IF we only quit deliberately ignoring the draft and focus more on extracting legitimate value to address our positional issues and lack of:

- Long, athletic defenders and some with high end two way potential.
- Athletic playmaking or scoring or lockdown POA two way guards that play with maturity and poise.
- Long, mobile, athletic, high motor physical, rim protectors.
- Athletic and very skilled long two way physical 4's and 4/5s that can switch, make plays and are very versatile with potential high ceiling outcomes.
- High volume knockdown shooting jumbo wings and jumbo wing defensive connectors that make high impact plays and fill up the stats box while also xhibiting great versatility.

I have lists for all of these needs with players well within our range and many even likely to be available as undrafted prospects that'd cost us really nothing beeyond and exhibit 10 type deal or a two way slot on our new Gleague team and could drastically outplay their initial contractual values and return significant ascending value upon development either as supplemental impact bench/ rotation contributors, or as potential inclusionary trade pieces to replenish our depleted assets and restore our future potential at least somewhat more than nothing! Lastly and most importantly, these prospects would give us 4 yrs of low cost contractual control to help offset our imbalanced top heavy salary roster. When the time comes and people pivot to our in evitable early offseaon strategies discussions, feel free to ask about any range of prospects that have arcchetypes, talents, or skillsets that you feel could benefit us and i'll be waiting on the draft discussion thread to discuss potential options. :D

If you fckng refuse to shoot enough fckng 3 pointers you will lose your fckng games in the fckng NBA in fckng 2024.

(And probably this will be my motto until we drop out in the first or second round)

I am really tired of watching Booker and KD go one on one every freaking possession. Maybe Street Clothes will get healthy and then we can have better offensive possessions than we are currently seeing. We excelled tonight when we got the ball to Bol Bol that was just doing what he is supposed to. Move without the ball get open get the ball make shots. He did not force anything. Refreshing.

Are we ever going to run plays Allen. He is our best shooter and only gets 9 shots tonight. Book was throwing up brick. Pass the fooking ball to Allen, please.

I am with you. I highly doubt that we are going to make the top 6. These fans that are worried about the 2nd round need to hope we make it to the first round. Unfortunately, I think there is a real good chance that we do not make the playoffs while getting beat in the play in portion of the playoffs.

Ok ghost, be sure theyll get right on it.

Im afraid Wishbia’s lack of patience is going to require about 3 yrs of patience.

But a punchers chance as they say. Tonight just wasnt the night. We shoot at a normal clip, we house them…. But then again… long athletic teams will be problems. That and this ****show offense and psuedo coaching staff.. I think TheMadMatter will have no problems sacking Vogel before seriously monkeying with this roster. Its easier….. and zeke will be ready by then.

Booker and KD combined - 1/11, team - 22%. Are we sure we want them shooting more 3s. But hey, they lead the league in making hard shots, read inefficient low IQ midrange shots that lead to team's O becoming stagnant most of the time.

On the other side this team can't defend and opposing stars like Doncic and FVV go 50+% and role players are let take open 3s on consecutive possessions.

Well, ideally they should run more, but thats never gonna happen. Shooting more 3s generally could, if someone (their baby mama, their coach, jesus christ or god) convince them to do it, as they are good shooters. But we are dead last in 3 point attempts in the whole NBA if you take our attempts per game in our losses - as someone else posted this stat a while ago. That is not a coincidence - it is correlation.
We are generally not shooting enough of those, as we are 25th in the league in 3PA/game. With our personnel, we should be top 5.
But it seems like we got dumbazz athletes on our team, who are too cool to listen to stat nerds... they will happily "middy" away our season, and jog back on defense...

3s is only one of the problems unfortunately. Hard to convince these stars they need to change their style. I really hope for next season, because from this point I consider the rest of the season a practice, they find a useful bench PG. As someone wrote in previous game thread KD as PG in Q4 was a disaster. Here's a stretch with his "playmaking" at start of Q2. Basically 3 TOs on 3 consecutive possessions though one probably ended an assist to Bol.

Beal and Nurk are difference makers on that end, but you need someone to run the offense when those two are injured. Even someone like Micic if Jones was able to flip useless Nassir Little for him at the deadline would have been great.

im over the iso ball our team has more talent than urs and just go 1 on 1 and not pass the ball bs...

When you have an iso star like Booker u dont need more iso players... Our offense looks like poop...

Booker needs a PG not a KD or a Beal.... Booker is WAYYYY better than cp3....But cp3 was perfect to our teams needs and bookers needs...You need good role players. We got the the finals because we played team ball and for the most part people knew their roles... We are overloaded with iso talent resulting in no ball movement and a **** looking offense....

Im starting to think the only good trade "big trade" we did was for allen and nurk....I would trade every1 outside of booker, nurk, and Allen....

?
Allen
Booker
?
Nurk

You can easily come up with two players to fill each spot that are better and cheaper than Beal and KD... Chemistry and fit matter...

Role players matter.

We need to trade KD... We might be stuck with beal....

im over it... We need a PG...

OFFENSE IS SOOOOOOOOOO UGLYYYYYY

RIP NASH
