Garbage performance. Can’t even make a ft to save their life. Should have beaten this team up 15+ not barely by 5 points.

Glad we won and hung tough! And although it wasn't pretty at all, these types of wins are key to our progression as a legit contender in us closing out important games and playing with more urgency!! Good win makes for a goodnight.

This Rockets team is tough, they play hard on every possession. They lack the experience and they aren't a super talented team (like the Thunder) but good enough to win to anyone on any night.

We survived because we played harder than usual, we knew that it would have been an L without an extra effort. Last game against them was in our mind for sure...specially on Book's mind.

I did like seeing him coaching up Bol when he picked up his 3rd foul.

He said…’Did I tell you an about the time I played against you dad?’

Some legit dislike brewing with this squad. Lots of jawing. 1 1/2 over/under for ejections next game.

Not a convincing win against a trash Houston team.

Book was hot early then proceeds to take bad shots and shoot something like 5-17 in the second half. We let Landale keep them in the game late but luckily Houston bailed us out by them having try to play hero ball and rush 3's without conscience.

Against the better teams we can't let up the intensity and expect to win.

We weren't great by any means but the Rockets were playing a crappy gimmick defense. If Grayson was his usual self this is a 15+ point ass kicking.

I don't think Grayson believed how open he was for some of those shots.

Bol Bol continues to be very very solid, he's no fluke. Guy needs to be in our rotation period.

You can rarely see such low FG percentages nowadays. Did they play some great D or both teams offense was **** ? Coming rough schedule will tell a lot about this team having to play against playoff level teams that won't let you have a bad game and still win.

It was a scrappy physical game and nobody really shot the ball well. Grayson Allen was missing badly on wide open 3s which is typically a layup for him, it was that kind of night.

RON was a godsent to this team. The bench should be better with the return of Beal and EG (and hopefully the Grayson move to the bench to make the team and the rotations more balanced). While I'm not optimistic about our overall chances, and I don't think we are a true contender, I do think we have a punchers chance.

Royce and Bol have been amazing for this team post all star break. It's allowed us to survive Beal being out and KD /Book being in a funk.

Feeling pretty good about our team once everyone comes back, now if we can give Young a chance to play some of Eubanks minutes ..

Still not sure if the Bol thing is sustainable, but fully agree on giving Thad a bit of testrun. If everything goes well he (or Eubanks) shouldn't really play more than 10 minutes per game in the postseason anyways, but it'd be nice to have an OK player out there for those 10 minutes who knows what he is doing, etc...

Not a sexy win, but a win is a win and we need as many as we can get. Y'all complain too much.

Yeah

However, if we continue to let the other teams get 10 more shots than we do, we just are not going to beat anyone in the playoffs. Especially with KD really being off the mark recently. We will have to shoot ungodly percentages to compete.

I also remember everyone complaining about Mike D playing Nash and others too many minutes. How about our championship coach playing KD 40 Minutes against a non playoff team. This was a KD that was struggling to get anything done.

We likely lose without KD playing 40min so what are you gonna do? Not play him?

We needed to play KD high minutes in order to win the game, you need to remember that Beal and EG were out for this one.

And for all the KD "struggling" he managed to get 24 points, 7 boards and 6 assists shooting 42% from the floor...that's a meh day for him but his impact was huge for the win.

Going to wear him out. That’s just a fact. KD isn’t some ‘Ironman’. Remarkably, he’s held up at 37+ mins per... A little load management wouldn’t hurt, but these jabronies just can’t put teams away. Crazy though… KD is throwing about the same stats up as his run in GState. Yet he seems clumsy and ineffective at times. Go figure.

He needs to pass on the Olympics

For sure. His veteran presence is why he's here.

Bol seemed to listen too. Encouraging....

Bol learning directly from KD is about the best position in the NBA he could have landed in. I went from thinking Bol Bol is a meme to him being my favorite player on the team to watch quickly.

Did anyone notice the few minutes we went to the zone with Bol at the top. Was nice to try something different not sure against good teams that can be played.
