Nice little 12-5 run as the game is now tied at 39. Good things happen when the other team misses and we start hitting multiple shots. Now let’s work on building a lead.

The last time the Suns were this hot, Ayton was cooking the clippers in the playoffs. :o

Not a bad 2nd quarter we limited the Spurs to just 18 points and took a lead after being down in double digits.

Ghost of Kleine wrote:The unfortunate part of this outcome is in that with Bol exceeding expectations and continually doing so very well, with each great game he plays himself further and further out of our range, UNLESS Durant himself along with Book and Beal can convince him accept much less than what he'll likely get in free agency from some desperate young team with significant cap space that's starving for young promising talent! Maybe KD and our big three could sell him on taking over as a potential 3rd option post Durant in two years with starter minutes and a more significant pronounced role?? Being featured as part of a big three with starter minutes and a featured role has to be at least a little bit enticing to him I'd wager.

Any thoughts on what he might pull in free agency this summer given his surprising play and recent viral sensation type output against Wemby?? I have him commanding upwards of $7-10 max range possibly, but ending up in the 6-8 range from a team with cap that doesn't land a splashy name. :dontknow:

It might be a reasonable idea to have a contingency plan to identify/acquire the next potential Bol type prospect to fill that gap IF we truly anticipate losing him as well need to fill that hole in the roster regardless, and need another young exciting energizing talent as a replacement in that specific role for our team too. when/If the time comes, I'll offer up a few names as potential replacement options. :D

I'm still not convinced Bol Bol is all that.

On a team with 3 other all stars he's going to get good looks because the defense is all about stopping the big 3 which lets Bol Bol get better looks.

I'm thinking though since we are really limited in who we can sign Ishbia might offer him like a 2 year deal around 5-6m per.

Yeah man, our defense stepped up in a huge way. Let’s jump on their throats next half and put this game away. Maybe IT will get some burn?

Forgot that IT was on our team. Would be great to see him get some playing time but it’s up to Vogul to actually play him.

I hope you're right, but his advanced numbers are excellent albeit with a small sample size and I've yet to see anyone completely outmatch him. To me he's pretty much a 3nD guy with some playmaking and iso ability, that's a very valuable player.

Playoffs (if we get there) will determine his price. If he can stay on the court defensively and not hijack the offense then he'll get some team that'll pay him.

Nice telegraphed pass, Booker. A middle schooler could have swiped that weak sauce effort.

We just can't play fundamental basketball.

Ishbia should try to overpay for coach Pop who won't stand for the kind of lazy low effort play that has come to symbolize the KD era Suns team.

We can't offer him anything more the minimum he's currently on + 20% which means it'll be about $2.5m per.

Unreal! Everything can go perfectly and then we quit playing and allow other teams to take a lead.

For a moment you see them playing well and you get your hopes up...and then they go back to being what they are.
