The All Star Selection What a TRAVESTY

Post#1 » by DrFunk » Fri Jan 25, 2008 3:54 pm

Guards: Kobe Bryant (LAL) 2,004,940; Allen Iverson (Den) 1,203,152; Tracy McGrady (Hou) 1,192,742; Steve Nash (Phx) 1,174,125; Chris Paul (NO) 563,525; Manu Ginobili (SA) 541,148; Tony Parker (SA) 500,009; Baron Davis (GS) 499,186; Jason Terry (Dal) 300,125; Jerry Stackhouse (Dal) 270,412.

OK Bryant leading = obvious
Allen Iverson = HELLO??
Mcgrady = Team china strikes again
Nash = Can't believe he lost by 22K or so to be a starter
CP3= He should have got triple the votes the way he played this year

Like is it the voting system or are fans just flooded with homers...

I'm fine with it thank goodness Tmac isn't starting he lost by what 10k votes. Iverson is deserving of a spot maybe not starting but who really cares it's just a popularity contest for the starting spots anyway. Very suprized shaq didn't make it even though he has sucked this year. Oh and there is an all star thread.

Its not the voters who make the votes, its the counters.

Vote Tammany!

i actually have a feeling that iverson over tmac was rigged

no way tmac and all his chinese fans (coz of yao) didnt get enough votes. i totally wouldnt be suprised to find out one day that he DID have enough votes and the NBA changed it due to his comments recently

conspiracy theory?

T-Mac does not deserve to be there. The starters are decided by the fans and thats the way it is.

^^

I also think Garnett having the most votes were rigged to

I think they wanted to show China having less impact because no way does Yao not get the most votes and no way does AI overtake T-Mac like that lmao

Pretty sad really but glad T-Mac won't be playing/

How did Yi not make it? I mean yao makes it without question every year, but the other Chinese guy doesn't? hmm. That's a conspiracy!!! Yi's much more of an exciting player than Yao.
