They are just on, and we look like crap. YOu would think after

We need a good GM who can make smart moves and bring in the right players for this team. we have not had that for years now and that continues to today. Mitch has been smart with his moves in putting together a solid team.

I wish I was at the arena to punch those guys. And being there I'd try to punch Porter too.

They're as emotionless as our players are.

The thing that pisses me off the most is watching these guys brush this off like they don't care. Where's the emotion? These are the f*ckin' LA Lakers.......our most hated rival....... I've seen more emotion in a d*mned chess match. For Christ sakes Porter, get a technical ........ players, get mad!!!

On the bright side, Amare's defense remains as poor as ever...he completely lost Bynum on that dunk.

By bright, I mean "OMGWHYDOESOURTEAMSUCKSOMUCH?!?!?!"

You know what's missing this season?

It's not Marion or D'Antoni.

WE NEED SEAN MARKS!

I mean...isn't it ridiculous? Porter doesn't even know that this is Amare's team on offense. And we kept feeding Shaq early on...feeding Shaw...feeding Shaw...while everyone else stood around looking. I mean i'm not surprised their hands are cold when they get to shoot. We can't run our team through Shaq...

And then in the 2nd half what does Porter do? Takes Shaq out! He has no idea what to do...sad, depressing and frustrating.

So what! That is the way I look at this. We are 8-5 now. Big deal.

This team as is has the talent to be as good as it wants to be. But we are playing some very sloppy, uninspired, unsure of themselves basketball.

Porter needs run Amare around Shaq in the low post. Amare needs min 20 shots a game. Diaw needs min 15 shots a game. Shaq should be taking 8 shots max a game. Nash, Barbosa, Bell and Barnes split perimieter shots when open.

If we still look like this in April then Porter can be declared a crappy coach but this will take more time.

I'm glad Amare gets to pad his stats. That sure makes him happy.

honesty i feel like we sold our soul in an attempt to get a ring. I dont care if people disagree with me but i would rather have an exciting team and never win a championship then continue playing like this. Its funny, in a weird way i miss Mike D's side line anticts. Porter needs to work on b*tching out the refs more and making funny faces.

Of course, you are right. But I haven't seen much improvement this season. And Porter is wrong if he thinks he can slow down Nash and Stat and be effective on the offensive end. This is not going to change. We can "gel" and adapt to Porter style as much as you want but he'll never turn Amare and Nash into two great half court players. You know what great coaches do? They adapt. They use the strenghts of their players. Now, honetly, do you think Porter is doing that?

Maybe it's not even his fault. It has been brought here to "get defensive" and i'm sure Kerr is so happy now...

We can't run and gun anymore.

We can't play the pick and roll anymore.

It's ok if Porter wants to make us a half-court team, but at least be creative with it. We are too talented of an offensive team to just focus our offense on Shaq.

And our defense didn't improve much, especially our pick-and-roll defense, which still looks awful with Shaq on the floor.

Porter's substitution patterns drive me crazy each game, win or lose. He's matching up with the other teams' lineup instead of having them match up with us.

And he's very close to losing the faith of his starting backcourt.

IT's still early, but things aren't looking good.

I can still hope though...
