It's ok if Porter wants to make us a half-court team, but at least be creative with it. We are too talented of an offensive team to just focus our offense on Shaq.

And our defense didn't improve much, especially our pick-and-roll defense, which still looks awful with Shaq on the floor.

Porter's substitution patterns drive me crazy each game, win or lose. He's matching up with the other teams' lineup instead of having them match up with us.

And he's very close to losing the faith of his starting backcourt.

IT's still early, but things aren't looking good.

I can still hope though...

Rondo had a good night

Porters rotations do not seem good, neither does his coaching style.

On the bring side, we have two morons running this organization in sarver and Kerr. Just shows you what you get when you get someone from uofa.

I strongly believe this will all sort itself out. I also would not be surprised if they seek some personel changes via trade to play the style that Porter wants to play.

Marbury would be nice I still think.

Totally understand your perspective and trust me if we end up winning a championship playing slowball i might change my own opinion. However, watching games like this one, the rockets, and NO i can't help but feel this way. Especiallt when i think we had a better chance of going deep in the playoffs with the old style anyways. It's just not fun anymore for me. I still love this team but the reason they are being paid millions is to be entertaining and that isnt happening thus far.

I want Carter as well, but we literally have no trade chips. They don't want Barbosa or Diaw.

And Bell expires in 2010. No matter how ineffectual he's gotten, he's a cheap roleplayer with a good contract.

I hate to say it, but I think this team might need to make a BIG trade. Im not kidding. We have so much talent that it seems like it is too much. They do not play like a TEAM, and nash is one of the best at leading a team on O. but I feel Porter is holding him back. I just don't know. I know we are 8-5, and that is not bad, but the did not show heart at all. Just looked bad as a team.

Two years ago, this team new what to do on O. They played together and all scored. It seems like they have no idea what to do. It seems like porter had no idea what to do.

I just have a bad feeling that this year is going to be the same ol same.

+1 on the thoughts on the offense, not sure about the "big trade"...we barely have any chemistry as it is, and that's *with* a training camp.

im desperate... suns need a guard who can penetrate, dribble the ball and can shoot the 3. every time bell dribbles the ball, i expect a turnover and every time he lays it up, i expect a miss.

I was thinking the exact same thing. His rotations leave me dumbfounded.

This just rips your guts out to watch the Suns turned into this below-mediocre team.

true, even after trainning camp. However, I guess we can give them the benefit of the doubt due to so many of our starters getting hurt in trainning camp.
