This is what I would do with Houston. If we do any sort of deal with Houston I want it to involve Alston or Brooks, without them I pass. They LOVE Brooks so I dont think they will give him up. And also I really like Dorsey so thats why I added him to the list haha.

so the pistons/bulls game showed us two things:
pistons players will not make us better short term.
and chicago should not give these guys to us. it would be quite a high risk for us and them.

Would be interested what Rockets could offer.

I'm guessing the Kings would offer something like this, with draft picks included hopefully.

As for the Rockets, I thought they traded away there draft picks for Artest so I don't really see how a deal could work basically it would be something like this

Would he play for the team?

He is guaranteed a spot on the East roster. And Stern will have to choose 2 from the West to replace him, or if he gets traded for an East all star they just swap spots...but we will never get an all star for amare.

Does the Rocks have a TE or something?

Knowing Kerr, he probably wants Scola - a Spurs type player...

Head
Scola
Artest

Works...Not for me, but it works ;)

Sadly, Kerr/Sarver would never do a 1 for 4 trade with anybody. Thats why my trade idea would be more realistic, sending 3 and getting 4.

They just announced that the trades are purely financial because Sarver would like to shed $7 million dollars by the end of the all star break, so we are looking at Amare for sure going and Shaq is about 50/50.

If the suns do not make a move fast, then Kerr could lose this deal. Tyrus is 16/10 the past 8 games, and when fully starting he is 19/11. In no way will Tyrus ever be the level Amare is offensively, but he is also a restricted FA who could be locked up for 5 to 8 years, while Amare could walk in 1. Then of course Noah had 12/14.

all that is just to complicated, besides the suns will ot carry more than 13 players so bringing more players back will not work because Sarver is not going buy out or release anyone that costs him money

Oh so no specific trade has been made, just whenever a trade is found it will be for $$$$ reasons.

Sac has no packages that would be interesting.

Scola/Artest would be an interesting start to a houston package, but must not include rafer "shot chucker" alston

If they trade both how do they expect to stay competative and make the playoffs ?? One or the other has to go but not both, he would lose to many fans and money..

Gooden + Tyrus + Thabo + 1st rounder.

The way Tyrus has been playing, that's pretty good value.
Last 4 games:

22/10/ 3 steals
23/12/ 1 block
15/10/ 2 steals, 3 blocks
14/13 1 steal, 3 blocks

In the 22/10 game, tonight, he was instrumental in turning the game around against the Pistons and he drew 13 foul shots.

RE: the Pistons rumor:
Amir Johnson? Are you kidding me? The guy's in his 4th season and he still can't stay on the court b/c of fouls. 4 fouls in 19 minutes tonight guarding Tyrus. Sheed would be good for 40% of this one season, but then that's it-- and if all you're left with is Amir, you should take to the streets.
