That's your opinion. Amare is going to play where ever he gets paid. I just thought about this rumor. We are acting as if Jefferson is 100% healthy. Dude just tore his ACL AND signed a fat contract. What if he is a Danning Manning after this injury???

Just A thought. It is not a risk free deal.

Another thing, Al is cool, but he is slow motion. He is a very conventional player, doesn't get up and down the court, he is too slow. Amare gets the ball and either shoots it or drive to the hoop, no messing around, I like that.

I'll take Amare, because he fits our system better, the age difference doesn't matter and he isn't recovering from an ACL!!

If you want to know the honest truth; Amare is going to sign an extension with the suns.

Ryan and I will cream our pants if this trade goes down. How long has Amare been saying that he will improve his defense and become an all around player? Well has it happened yet, I don't think so?
Jefferson is a stud and plays hard on both ends of the floor and plus we also would get a 6th pick.

Great trade. Could Jefferson run? But our staff might be able to get that to work. Why does everyone want Deng so much? J-Rich and HIll >> Deng. Deng is an injury prone, slow swingman with a decent jump shot and that's all. We could do much better than Deng. Deng had one good fluke year and that's all.

Oh man I would do this deal in a second. I can only hope it's true! And look at my avatar/signature, I love Stat (offensively) but that is a steal for us.

Way too good to be true for you.

Would you guys do Al/6 for Amare/Lopez/14? IMO, much more even.

As others have said, there would HAVE to be a deal in the works for Shaq for a PF....

Possibly:
DWest from NOR
Varejao + Pavlovic + JJ from CLE
Ty T + JJ + TT from CHI
Bass + Stack + Damp from DAL...I think Bass just needs minutes to be a stud

I don't see this happening....Kerr must be pissed about all these rumors making the rounds; if Amare was on the fence about wanting out he'll be PISSED now about the potential move to a rebuilding franchise

Lol!!! Maybe we can finally get lucky. I love amare, but....This sounds to good to be true.

When's the last time Minnesota didn't get ripped off? Depends on what you're looking at but dealing Garnett basically destroyed any chance the T-Wolves had at contending. Kevin Love is good but O.J. is probably better. Roy for Foye. Foye's a nice player but again Roy is a great player. But they do have a new GM so we'll see.

This is highway roberry for the Suns. If Minny wants, we'll throw in Richardson and take Miller + Smith or Gomes.

Telfair
Foye
Richardson
Love
Amare

Pretty good, actually. It's a balance of defense, rebounding, scoring, and especially the athleticism & shooting.

If we pull this off, then I'd also want to do the 3way Shaq where we get Deng + Chandler as well.
Draft Jordan Hill + Terrence Williams. Sign Jannero Pargo to 12mil/3 year deal with 3rd being an option.

Nash/Jannero/Dragic
Williams/Barbosa/Dudley
Deng/Hill/Dudley
Jefferson/Hill/Amundson
Chandler/Hill/Lopez

i dont know why but even if we do want to get amare out, aren't we still going to try to be a running team under gentry? i dont know that much of jefferson and i never really seen him play so i dunno, only thing make it tempting is the 6 pick which will put us at like 4 players to stock up on before dreaded 0'10
theres no such thing as defense in phoenix.

Amare takes the cake as a better shot-blocker, and is a better all-around defender.

It sounds too good to be true but this is exactly the point

given Minnesota's amazing management, I would not be surprised one bit if the trade goes down :)

everyone wants him cause we had him for about a couple minutes. now we want him back. it should be understandable if in a couple years we have some miraculous chance at getting rondo back.

Outsiders perspective...

I am not dissing on Amar'e, I think he is a great player and would love to see him in green. But if this deal is on the table for you guys, you take it and run like a fat kid who just stole a snickers bar.

Why trade Amare? It doesn't make any sense to get rid of him.. 2010 we just pick someone nice alongside with Amare and we're straight for another run. We gave Gentry the job for a reason and one huge reason was knowing Amare is a beast in a high tempo type of game... thinking of Al Jefferson running is funny. Don't get me wrong, I believe AJeff is a better overall player then STAT, but it won't mix well as Gentry the coach.

Keep STAT or Kerr will cry to sleep when Amare is MVP next year.
