All right fellows, I'm out. HW calls. Clearly this squad is not as effing awesome as a few seemed to believe, but for the rest of us, this was A)expected and B)doesn't change the fact that they're fun to watch when they're not playing teams with dominant post presences, lol

Yep, and I'm done. L.A. silenced Phoenix pretty well.

Anyone else still disagree with me about our defense? This is what we look like against a team that has good offense, good defense and a post presence. Not pretty.

Let me quote exactly what I wrote yesterday. This went pretty unnoticed, but man oh man, I was darn accurate in my comments about the Suns/Lakers:

Yeah Lakers have been sitting back relaxing for 3 days - watching Phoenix play well.

They are already drawing up plans to smoke the Suns - and the Suns better strike back or else the Suns success is going to look like fools gold against Kobe.

If Suns are serious this season, they will surely defeat the Gasol-less Lakers.

I really hope they don't lay an egg here on a second of back-to-back road game. Very hostile, dangerous territory unlike the easy win versus Hornets at home.

Suns better bring the A-game or else it is going to be a game where Suns get out-rebounded, out-hustled, and out-scored by Kobe and the entire Lakers bench.

Yes. Really.

Lakers are too good. Way too good. Probably the most talented team ever assembled in the history of NBA professional teams. Better than the 90s Bulls, the 80s Celtics, and even the Showtime Lakers themselves from back in the day -------> all this without the starting forward Gasol.

Wow.

I really don't see a reason to fall off the bandwagon yet.

I mean: 7 games in 10 days, 6 being on the road (delivering two first-loss games) against the current champions with three days of rest. Add two uncharacteristically awful games from our top two scorers (Amare & Richardson combining 4 for 24, 8 rebounds, 0 assists) and you get a blowout.

I am pretty pissed that we made Bynum into a damn hall-of-famer. But I saw too many good things from this team to write them off with the amount of asterisks that apply to this game's context.

Finally, I don't think it's a bad thing for the Suns to get a good ass-beating. I just wish it were at the hands of anyone but L.A.

Well I'm out too boys, wish my first involvement in a game thread could have went a little better but oh well. They get two days off to rest and practice and then are gonna take it to the Raptors on Sunday. Looking forward to a lot of fun times with you guys this season.

All of this is false. They aren't even the best team in the league this year. They have a well balanced starting 5 but NO bench, which is why they played their starters until they were up 20 with 8 minutes left in the game even though they've been up 20 almost the entire 2nd half. Saying they are better then the teams you mentioned is just an insult to those teams, and the NBA in general.

Non-bitchy point: How far has Adam Morrison fallen since he came into the league. I remember a lot of hype around that guy.

We've looked gawd awful before, lost by 31 points and then come back and defeat the same team another time.

Next game or so when we play them we will have Robin to throw into the equation.

Oh ya, that's what we were missing. The Frolo to disturb their big men.

And they will have Gasol. I don't really think that is a contest between those two.
