No Gasol means Bynum and Odom are gonna have hell guarding Amare and Frye.

Hill will battle Artest.

Our bench is better than the Lakers bench and Barbosa also owns the Lakers.

Nash will torch Fisher like he always has.

That just leaves Kobe vs J Rich and Dudley...

I like our chances a lot.

Bynum vs Amare can go either way, Lamar vs Frye, is Frye that good? I guess it can go either way too... Artest vs Hill I think Ron has the advantage, Nash will torch Fisher but Phil might put Brown in to post Nash up... Kobe will be posting J.Rich all night, thats what Kobe does this year.
Like i said it should be a close game, it's a matter of tempo. Slow game = Lakers win, Fast game = Lakers win.... it's a matter how you guys wanna lose. lol, just playing. Fast game = Suns win but Lakers can play a up tempo game too, it does favor the suns though..
Our bench has sucked so far this year except for the last game and Josh Powell has played good off the bench all year, but you guys do probably have the better bench

OK, don't need to change the title of this thread. Everyone get your gametime rituals in order, tomorrow is a HUGE game.

I have no clue.

Anyway, got the starters rest, confidence is up, and looking good.

Hopefully the Lakers are going to be rusty or look past the suns to the nuggets or have a team drinking game prior to tip off. I'll take a win anyway we can get it.

Looking forward to the game! Can't tell you how happy I am that we're competitive this year. Should be a great one!

With the way we're playing, I highly doubt the Lakers overlook us.

The Truth

Who ever is going to guard Kobe Bryant tomorrow, which is probably a mixture of players - there will be no one to stop him; the hustle and heart may show that we might have a chance, but we don't have that defensive stopper we need to guard those types of players. Add to the fact that Bynum is back and may not be 100% percent and no Gasol. Even if we win it doesn't seem like much cause its not there full roster; but its still a W -

Yeah Lakers have been sitting back relaxing for 3 days - watching Phoenix play well.

They are already drawing up plans to smoke the Suns - and the Suns better strike back or else the Suns success is going to look like fools gold against Kobe.

If Suns are serious this season, they will surely defeat the Gasol-less Lakers.

I really hope they don't lay an egg here on a second of back-to-back road game. Very hostile, dangerous territory unlike the easy win versus Hornets at home.

Suns better bring the A-game or else it is going to be a game where Suns get out-rebounded, out-hustled, and out-scored by Kobe and the entire Lakers bench.

Come on man, nobody in the league can stop the guy, he's the best offensive player in the NBA. People can claim Melo is all they want, but I think Kobe is a good deal better than him. Kobe is as efficient on offense this year as I've ever seen him.

huge huge game. if we rebound and hit the 3 ball, I think we pull it off. we need to stay aggresive on the boards and hit at leat 40-50% of our 3 pointers. it's gonna be tough fellaz, but with the way we are playing, we have a good chance of pulling this one off. let go pHX!!!

I keep going to the NBA.com standings page just to look at the #1 team in the west. Your Phoenix SUNS! Unbelievable how well they are playing right now. This season has been a dream come true thus far.

The key to this game, I'm pretty sure, is going to be the battle of the benches. The Suns' bench has been excellent, and not just compared to the starters -- they've outperformed the starters on several occasions this year

I'm still trying to wrap my head around that, actually.

Other important things are: Can the Lakers prevent open looks from the 3? Which Bynum is going to show up? Will Kobe get any help? And finally, will the Suns stay respectable on the boards?

This game is going to be very interesting. I really, really wish it was a more 'even' game (back-to-back, no Gasol, etc.), as it would tell us a lot more about the Suns.

The scary thing about Kobe is he's started posting up like old Jordan used to...

LIMIT THE TO"S then we have a shot the Lakers thrive on turnovers

glad to see Nash got some rest though Hill didnt get as much as Id like ill take the win. Im gonna predict a Suns loss because i predicted a Suns loss against the Hornes(go me  ) so it seems to be good karma policy

We're on the verge of going 9-1 and silencing the faker bandwagon. It really can't get any better than that.

Give me the Suns on this one, in a close one, we win by 5 at most.
