Don't be silly, why go for LBJ when you can get the GOAT:

Amare/Nash for JJ Beastson

So you want Kerr to throw in the towel on the season already???

That trade would have been great for last year.

Take out Varejao from the Cavs side, take out Barbosa from the Suns side. Cavs add Hickson and it's a deal...

Worst trade ever. We already have one sideshow Bob, we need another? That first rounder might as well be a second rounder. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh

The Suns are undefeated at home and have one of the best records in the league without a healthy Barbosa. Yet they are going to fold the season?

Amar'e and Barbosa (great value) for cap space, 2 x LOW 1st rounders (Cavs can't trade their own pick twice in a row so I don't really get that) and an OVERPAID backup F/C?

Even an expiring Amar'e is worth a decent young player at this point. Barbosa still has great value. Getting 2 awful picks, cap space and one of the most overpaid backups in the league is terrible for 2 young starter quality players.

Love it for the future. It's just really hard to trade one of your top players in the middle of a successful season.

Nash / Dragic
Ellis / Barbosa
Hill / Dudley
Randolph / Amundsen
Frye / Turiaf / Lopez

Trade J-Rich for a decent PF until Randolph is ready for big minutes and you're set.

A cleveland unprotected 1st rounder is going to be in the 25-30 range which is worth nothing. Might as well just say it's protected.

Yeah this is a terrible trade. I hate watching Varejao, and I have to do it every game. My wife and I yell at him every time he touches the ball.

And why get their draft pick when we might be able to trade just barbosa to someone for a late 1st rounder or even just buy one and give them Tuckers expiring? I'm sure we can just straight out buy an early 2nd rounder from someone. I think 3 or 4 picks from 29-35 or so were sold flat out last year by teams that just didn't need more people to pay not to play or already had plenty of young talent to develop.
