This is probably Dana's worst case scenario. Super hyped cared with one of your more popular fighters, stuck in a relatively boring fight. Usman is getting trashed online right now for this fight. The BMF belt is going to be the far more popular belt as long as Usman is champ probably.

I still think Burns beats Usman. He has world class grappling and I think a more verse stand up game.

Love Gamebred, but he’s about to be 7-6 in his last 13 fights.

4-1 Usman. Much as expected, despite the first round Usman dominated the entire fight - with Masvidal being dangerous with seperation, but not able to land.

He isn't a championship level fighter. But he is an entertaining fighter. This is probably the end of Jorge going for the belt, hell wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't even want it after this. Honestly if Im him and the UFC, I just try to find the most exciting fighters at 155/170 and have the "BMF" belt up for grabs. Keep Jorge away from grapplers and just put him in fights with guys that like to bang.

I think Usman dominates him in the clinch, but he prob don't wanna be in guard against Burns. I see that as a even fight - Burns prob edges the striking.

Just waiting for Dana's reaction and you know Nate and Conor are going to chip in on this as well haha.

Ya don't get me wrong, Im not saying it would be an easy win for Burns. But if I was Usman I wouldnt even be too comfortable living in the clinch for too long with Burns. I wouldnt want to hand fight with a grappler as good as him for too long. But ya I think it would be a good fight, I just think Burns takes him.

Burns is an interesting matchup, but don't think I could pick against Usman at this point.

Burns, Covington 2, Edwards 2, Ponzinibbio - could be the next 4 guys for Usman if he beats the next man up everytime. Dominates Edwards with the wrestling and grappling like their first fight most likely. Covington is a hard fight, we've seen that already. Burrns is a tough matchup on paper and Ponzinibbio can be the same. There are hard matchups for him in the division.

Ya I would rank Burns #1 then Colby #2 when it comes to chances to beat him. Edwards has no chance in my opinion. But when it comes to the business end of it, Colby 2 is the only one that has any kind of chance to get any kind of buzz right now. The UFC is going to have a really hard time selling PPVs with Usman as a headliner. People are bashing him like crazy right now. He is probably the least liked champ right now in the UFC.

Haha I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he beats Burns next, Dana doesn't offer Khabib big money to move up to knock him off. Dana is probably fuming right now. This is not how he wanted tonight to end at all.

He had to do it was a plausible, perhaps likely, outcome. Usman might be too big for Khabib.

Oh I agree that he had to make the fight and knew this was a likely outcome. I just think he was willing to gamble and lost is all. Big cards like this one are supposed to win over new casual fans, the casual fans are blasting that fight right now. Usman is trending right now and not for good reasons haha.

I think the Khabib vs Usman fight would be very interesting. Ya Usman is bigger, but I do think Khabib's grappling is on just a different level though. Plus Khabib with 15 more pounds on him will be one strong guy himself. Plus personally I would just love to see that challenge. Really curious if Khabib could ragdoll and maul someone as big plus a high-level wrestler himself with Kamaru.

Point fighters probably really like the fact that there isn't a crowd to boo them.
