LOL. That was awesome. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Lopez has been cruel and arrogant with all his previous opponents. Every out-matched opponent, he's mocked and styled on. Now his unbelievable arrogance caught up with him. The Triller deal collapse, skipping the vaxx, coming in with **** conditioning, stategizing a 1 rd KO, being unprepped for the right hand... awesome.

It would be really suitable if he refused the re-match, like Lopez has refused Loma.

Lopez let his win over Loma get to his head. He deserved to lose, especially with his delusional post fight comments.

There are so many great matchups to be made at light weight. Any potential matchups between Loma, Haney, Kambosos, Garcia, Stevenson, Lopez and Tank would great to see.

I just hope any one of those names steps up to fight Loma. At 135, he's absolutely puny. But none of these dudes want a piece. ^

Loma even trashing Davis, I hear. Can you imagine a Loma-Davis fight? Loma has 1.5 inches on him, even. It's perfect, body proportion wise.

Not interested in paying for that PPV. I looked like an interesting fight but the main event and undercard wasn't even close to being worth 75 bucks plus taxes.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

I gotta say that I am super impressed that Haney is taking on Kambosos. In Melbourne, even.

LOL. Tank Davis, the Charlos...these dudes haven't taken a 10th of that risk, despite having had a lot more time in the game (the Charlos especially). Respect to Haney. If he loses, boxing fans have to respect the effort and be no less eager to see future fights. Losses can't be career killers for those challenging themselves.

Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte April 23rd, London England at Wembley Stadium.

Expecting 90,000 capacity crowd.

Espn+ ppv channel will be broadcasting the fight so check the time difference, it varies coast to coast. Another chance for an epic
fight party with loads food & drink fight fans :D I'm hiding those multi packs of Jaffa cakes, people just can't be trusted

Dillian Whyte got scared and didn't turn up for the Press Conference last month. Anyway its beats time.

LOL. GGG consulting Canelo's chemist, evening the playing field. He's almost 40, and somehow just put on an insane amount of muscle. The Marquez miracle.

Yes. This is a pick 'em.

Very interesting, though a slim chance for a finish. For all the bluster behind Taylor's punches, they lack real thwack.

I really dislike Taylor's coach (his strength dogma is super annoying)and love Serrano's fluidity so would love to see a win A.S.

Yeah almost certainly going to decision. Taylor 9/1 for ko/tko. I like both ladies but rooting for Katie.

On a side note Eddie Hearn really been bullying Jake Paul the last couple of days. Been mildly humorous.

Gaethje-Charles is obviously an exciting fight this weekend. But Bivol-Canelo is better. Style-wise, it's a crazy match-up. There is no more well-honed technique in the sport than Bivol's right hand counter (usually in combo as a straight-hook-straight). Meanwhile, Canelo predominantly attacks his opponent's left side so will have to somehow get past that very technique.

I think Canelo will stop him. But it's fascinating if you're at all nerdy about strategy. Bivol's a fearless counterpuncher, and will throw in the pocket simultaneous with his opponent's punches. His evasive footwork is also awesome, he always seems to be able to relieve the pressure of forward-moving opponents by staying in open space. So what Canelo can do to take Bivol out of his game and get to his right side is going to be interesting. If he can't threaten Bivol with punishment or pressure, Bivol has a chance to run away with things counter punching.

Canelo's most important ability will be that he has such an unbelievable guard while moving forward. So he will be able to move into the pocket without having to open up by punching and therefore won't be open to counters. He can just step in and force Bivol to lead or move.

Damn. Bivol put on a clinic of discipline, punch selection and movement. There were points where he hit Canelo with 7-8 punch combos, nearly every punch connecting.

Respect to Canelo. I really believe the guy just likes to have hard, violent fights. His chin is so strong that I don't think he fears getting KOd, so I think he's sincerely interested in seeing what it feels like to take on increasingly bigger opponents. At this point, he doesn't have much to lose. He has everyone's respect, he will be a PPV monster for another decade, and he can always just drop down and continue destructing 168ers.

Also, those huge right hands Canelo was throwing into Bivol's elbow guard. Anyone 168 or less can block those all they want, they're still going to get broken. And few Americans are comfortable with the sort of high guard defense that Bivol has mastered. They're going to try to roll or counter or move their feet, and that's just not gonna work.

Does Canelo really want a re-match? Seems weird. I mean, he obviously did much better in the re-match against GGG. That was a real mental and physical turn around (mental above all). So should be confident that he can improve. But who cares? What, he *wins* a 115-113 in the re-match? I don't think he can expect to KO Bivol. Just go down, KO Charlo, come back up for Bivol or Joe Smith/Beterbiev.

I always forget about Benavidez. DB provides unique problems at 168, and an interesting style. That's the fight I want to see.

Not surprised by the outcome. All true boxing heads know that Bivol was a legit 175 pounder, which Canelo is not. The fact that people are calling this a big upset annoys me because it’s disrespectful to Bivol. Canelo is lucky that it wasn’t Betterbiev because he would have gotten knocked out.

This doesn’t take away anything from Canelo. He dared to be great and fell short. It’s time for him to lock up some big fights at 168, where he belongs.

Also, the 115-113 scores were atrocious. They wanted to give Canelo that fight. Bivol won 118-110 or 117-111 at worst.
