Is it a breach of his job?

I don't think its a breach. My understanding of his role is more as fighter advocate with consultative duties, providing mentoring, etc. for fighters on their conduct. Going on his twitter and calling one of the guys that he has that duty to a punk is in bad taste imo, even if you call him up and call him a punk in private and then give him advice or whatever you do.

Maybe someone can help me understand this...

Diaz was suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission (or whatever it's called)

Does that mean he can't fight in California?

What about Canada? Japan? Germany? Australia? Mexico?

Couldn't the UFC give him fights in other jurisdictions?

Theoretically he can, but commissions in other states and other countries typically/always(?) honor suspensions from other commissions. And he's under UFC contract and it's not worth it for the UFC to have Diaz fight elsewhere and get the Nevada commission mad at them.

The UFC abides by commission rulings, as do all state commissions. So for Diaz to fight, he'd need to be released by the UFC and then he'd have to head to Japan or Brazil. Maybe he can fight Fedor on New Years Eve?

If Dana White puts Diaz on a card in Japan, what exactly is the Nevada Athletic Commission going to do about it?

It would be great to see the UFC take a stand and support Diaz on this matter

It can increase lung capacity, but still BS that it's even banned. My issue is that they can't tell when it was used in any of their tests... a 5 year suspension and they can't tell how much or when?

How could it increase lung capacity?
It still produces tar and carbon monoxide which are harmful to the lungs. I know when I smoked regularly that I would get a sore chest and throat after a night of heavy smoking.

I'm not going to compare it to cigarettes but I don't get how there's this perception that it has no negative health affects. It's smoke, all smoke is bad.

Am I missing something? If I am I'd love a brief education on the matter.

Probably thread worthy. Obviously some shady stuff on the UFC's part.

And this confirms Jones did indeed beat TRT (or whatever) Vitor, which puts that high on his best wins list.

Welp, Aljamain Sterling's boycott of Nevada lasted less than 12 days, as he has now signed to fight in Vegas.

Lol, embarrassing.

Alves tests positive. I was like, well that was predictable. Wrong Alves though.
