Seems like a terrible idea on PFL's part. But maybe they have nothing to lose, and this is their chance.

Is Ngannou going to be a company man and a team player?

They signed the biggest free agent in the history of the sport. Of course it’s good for them.

He got a lot of stuff outside of money that should help influence fighter rights in the right direction.

Dana, as expected being a total piece of **** and tried to spin it. Francis fact checked him on twitter and made him look like the arse that he is.

Dana is the last guy whose opinion I care about.

Francis and Jon Jones are both afraid of each other and should change organizations or weight classes if they are smart, according to Dana.

So did Affliction.

Surely PFL has deeper roots / pockets than Affliction. But historically it hasn't taken much to topple entire organizations.

Fair enough but things are changing a little currently. Guys are more willing to look elsewhere nowadays and I think it’ll keep happening more and more. Pfl have a good thing going, they are on espn as well.

I dunno who’s funding them but hopefully it lasts.

Conor looks like he has much bigger drug problems than steroids. Man always looks gacked.

Rays body composition is so weird.

Three homegrown champs with wins over GSP, Anderson Silva and Henry Cejudo. I guess I've never appreciated him as much as I do now after that interview but damn that was a joy to listen to.

Conor is beyond cooked - Chandler sparks him fairly easily and Ray's a 63 year old man, **** gets weird I imagine.

Aljo only started his run while Ray was out of commission, during COVID. It was him, Al, and Merab training by themselves who developed his backpacking game... which won him, for example, the Cory fight. Ray was in Long Island.

Meanwhile, Aljo won the championship despite Ray and Matt. He was getting smoked by Yan, as Longo-Serra had him coming out to spam a bunch of jumping kicks. He was tired as ****, covering up, and getting walked down by the second round. As you can hear Ray in the corner yelling for...more kicks.

Meanwhile, and short of Big Foot Silva, Weidman has had the least enviable last 5 years of any fighter. Brutal loss after brutal loss.

Man ufc fumbled Cedric Doumbe hard. Man has huge star potential. Charismatic as ****, commanded the crowd like Conor, had the biggest star that’s ever been to an mma event to see him.

Oh and got like a 9 second knockout

Apparently a bunch of the salaries have been revealed in some lawsuit? (for the UFC fighters).

Any takeaways?

Tony Ferguson is the first person to make it through David Goggins Hell Week.

I think he is past his prime and should probably consider retirement but that is an amazing achievement if you know who David Goggins is.
