This buy in could’ve been a pay per view itself. This Penta-Pac-Redbeard vs House of Black is a banger

My god. The 3 tag teams are on a whole different level.

Incredible match.

That was a hell of a show. Amazing match quality throughout.

I would rank it as such:

1. Triple Threat tag team
2. Punk/MJF
3. Adam/Adam
4. Bryan/Moxley
5. Ladder 6 Way
6. Kingston/Jericho

These were all amazing performances.

7. Darby/Sting/Guevera vs. Hardy, Kassidy, Andrade- issue I had was it was hard to follow. Too much action spread throughout.
8. Jade/Tay
9. Britt/Thunder Rosa- easily the worst of the night. Title needs to come off Britt to add some freshness to the division.

I generally agree with your list and rankings overall but I’d personally bump up the Tornado Trios match into that first tier, or at least in a middle tier separate from the bottom matches. I totally get the hard to follow comment though, that’s generally the issue with these multi person hardcore brawl type matches, but I still loved it, gave me old school Rocco Rock, Johnny Grunge Public Enemy vibes.

Plus the Guevara and Sting (!!!) table spots were wild and worthy of separating from the mediocre Jade/Conti match (which tbh was probably better than I expected) and the disappointing Britt/Rosa match. Also, Matt taking full responsibility for the loss and saying his gonna make up for it this Wednesday has got the speculation machine running wild.

Just unfortunate that the ending was botched.

I did enjoy it. The reason I didn’t put it in that top category is because it didn’t tell a complete story well. It was good spots but nothing really flowed or made sense. For example, Butcher and Blade appeared, then left randomly.

It was better than the other two but due to its limitations I couldn’t put it with the ones I put up top. All of those were good, contained stories with payoffs.

Curious to see where they go with this and if each guy has a young mentee. Then eventually the mentor's have issues with each other standing up for their protégé?

Wardlow face turn has arrived. Not sure if this was the best spot, i think his face turn action should have been beating up MJF versus just placing a ring on the mat for Punk, but still a nice, slow build.

Great PPV! Jade is growing on me, apparently she was very over with the crowd.

Every match had its moments, but my favorite was the triple threat tag team., very well coordinated and told a nice story. Loved that they boosted the in-ring mic sound, hearing Bobby Fish jawing throughout the match adds a nice touch

I guess/hope Thunder Rosa will win in a rematch in her hometown of San Antonio in two weeks. Maybe in a gimmick match (steel cage?).. no other explanation for her losing like this tonight. The match wasnt good tbh.

Edit: The house of black match from the buy-in was a banger as well!

I forgot to mention Wardlow.
What a gem they have in him.
