I haven’t watched more than clips of WWE for a couple weeks after just reading a review (Cageside Seats is my favorite) but I’ll say two things, one positive / one negative

The Austin Theory / Vince thing? I didn’t want to like it, but I did. They’re clearly gunning for something with him, and while it’s a bit PG for my taste, the self-absorbed selfie-taking heel just screams prominent mid-carder. And that’s something WWE seems to lack compared to 15 years ago. I would have gotten behind an extended Hardy/Theory program, and still might get behind a Mysterios/Theory one. Especially if it turns Dominick heel and Don lines up with Theory

I also read about Edge and Becky referencing releases, as if it was edgy. When really it was just ****. I hated that, but I hate watched the clips.. I think they tried to soften the reaction by having icons say them, but it was still gross. Loved Edge referencing the Punk/MJF promo, which was gold.. and his promo with Miz was great too. Had no idea who the woman was but props to Miz, because I really only remember him from the Real World. Had no idea he made it and was such a big deal

Really hope that Jeff is ok and this wasn't a repeat of that Victory Road 2011

Until a Drew McIntyre leaves I'm not worried, but if some men are leaving could they just look at women wrestlers more? Men go one way(AEW) while the women go the other way(WWE).

That looked bad. His punches and forearms were not at all convincing. It wasn't fair to expect the Uso's to act like they were hurt by them. And then just walking away... not good. The guy's 44 years old. Time to find something else - he seems very artistic, so I imagine there are some exciting possibilities for him in that realm.

Hardy is one of my favorites from way back, and I hadnt heard of this, so I just went through the journey on YouTube.. wow. That was awful. I know its hard for promoters to basically cancel a main event, but there was so much risk there.. if he botched something he could have hurt himself or Sting.

If the WWE didnt notice, which I'm sure is the case, then maybe their protocols need to be improved. Something was definitely wrong there, and the fact he was sent home means its either likely chronic, or a sobriety issue. Being actually sick wouldnt have generated this kind of reaction, nor would being injured (which you'd have to assume would become storyline, like they did with Bayley)

Something has to be up. Hopefully he gets right, he's so entertaining. In the meantime, they should try and push that Ricochet guy in his place, because that guy is amazing. I'm not sure why he isn't pushed to the moon already, he looks like a Rey Mysterio type but with a little more size

He's reportedly been released by WWE. Supposedly WWE offered him help/rehab, and he refused it. It's pretty clear that most everyone in the business loves him, but he'd be risking his health and his competitors' if he wrestles regularly again.

My cousin texted me this, and I obliviously asked for a reminder who he was, and he said “remember the chubby guy who always lands on ladders?”

But good stuff, apparently a long time wrestler who puts on a great show, hope he got big time paid

Yea he's really good. Debuted really hot face to face with Cena and then beating him. But as with 99.9% of others, WWE killed his momentum

Kevin Owens has had a hall of fame run in WWE. They treat him pretty good and always come back to giving him good runs and title programs. They need to get him in a rage team or a stable. I think they need to put him, AJ and fun together and let them be heals and free bird the tag team titles. And give one of them probably fin or AJ and IC tittle run.

It'll be interesting to see some of the details of that Kevin Owens contract, you know he had to have got PAID.

Plus this could really shake up DAY 1. I mean we all thought Owens was eating that pin. But, they resigned him, maybe they could put the belt on him.

Well, KO's new deal is for reportedly $3mil per year with various other incentives/increased time off. Good for him, that's got to be a top5 contract (for wrestlers) in the WWE.

That's in the Seth AJ randy tier, that's about what they get paid. On their last reported deals.

I also heard about insentivenbased bonuses on top of his price tag and a reduced Randy like schedule .

I also heard rumors of a no cut clause. But I can't find it confirmed.
