Re: WWE Backlash Discussion
Thought that women’s triple threat was terrible. All of their strikes looked awful, the offense wasn’t believable in general, and it was taking me out of it. The whole match had an odd pace to it.

I don’t understand this segment, and don’t want to. I already wasn’t excited for this Priest/Miz match (I mean, this feud just won’t end).

They got paid a ton of advertising money for the movie so wasted the match pimping the movie. It’s really that dumb.

I thought it was horrible gimmick. It gave a little comedic relief though. Priest, Miz and Morrison made it work though and made it entertaining given what this garbage was.

Stupid Batista movie making a mockery of a lumberjack match. Guess they can't with real people with Covid and all
And that Braun swanton was almost a serious neck injury if not for Drew flipping Strowman just enough for him to land on his shoulder. Phew

Embarrassment was the nicest word for it. Amazing that folks in the WWE said AEW set wrestling back 30 years, and then they do a match pretending that zombies are eating their wrestlers on a PPV.

Re: WWE Backlash Discussion
Charlotte/Asuka/Ripley - I really liked this match despite some sloppy moments. Charlotte did great with the expressions. But the ending was either messed up or poorly booked. I think Asuka should have hit Charlotte off instead of Charlotte just being out of position due to momentum of kicking Asuka.
Mysterios vs Dirty Dawgs - This felt long with Rey getting his butt kicked forever, but paid off decently. The Dawgs did their role well.
Miz vs Priest - One for the history books in terms of goofy Vince ideas, but overall lowlight of the night by far, the main problem was it wasn't a good match to begin with. Johnny Drip Drip comedy was slightly underutilized once the match started in my opinion. Maybe some Grimes with Lumis type panic would have worked better here.
Bianca vs Sasha - The sleeper good match of the night. Bayley heel behaviour mixed with Bianca golden girl worked well, and once again the hair played well into the end of the match.
Braun vs Lashley vs McIntyre - Delivered exactly what you want out of a fast paced hoss match. McIntyre toying with going heel a few times worked well. Lashley winning was a little predictable once he got taken out and disappeared though.
Reigns vs Cesaro - another great head of the table match, I was into Cesaro's shot of a lifetime, had some slow and long parts though and no neutralizer kick out and I'm going to be disappointed if we don't get the most humiliating swing of all time.
