I tend to feel like this is a pretty reasonable “Nurk” thread. Can’t disagree with much of any other points made.

Pre injury Nurk was my favorite player in the nba. He never got his willingness to hustle back, not quite like he had it then. I mean I remember the game he even got injured, he was literally white shaq out there but with zero vertical… just winning by pure hustle and muscle.

That said, since - I’ve always tried to keep my expectations pretty reasonable but I never could respect the playing style he either had to - or chose to go with post injury.. it’s just not him. He’s a 5/10 big cause he’s not playing to his strengths. Either physically he’s just lost it (maybe being skinnier?) but I don’t care if he hits a couple 3’s. Literally nobody asked Nurk to camp out at the three point line, and if they did they need fired immediately.

I miss you Nurk. Somehow I think it’s a memory now.
