I think we have to be really careful in offering a big contract
for a guy like JJ for the last time we offered such a contract
it was for Miles. If someone offers JJ a MLE contract, it might
make better sense to package Frye and our other JJ to replace
him. I'm thinking he would have to be nuts to leave a team
like Portland who is winning and is going to add Greg Oden.
I'd still like to get a physical player for 2008-9 to play alongside
of Oden. That guy might be Freeland but adding Greg Oden to
a potential playoff team is going to be huge.
