Deal Dame and you're set.

You can't bring Ant off the bench after they started him. I agree with you, but demotions like that are just not super common or realistic especially when he's the "vet" of the group.

Honestly think they should cash out on Dame AND Ant this summer. If you're going young man, bottom out and collect them picks!

More importantly: collect 2026 draft picks.

One guard needs to leave.
Still hoping for a Simons<->DDR trade.
Kris Murray fits enough positional need that I can see the Blazers keeping him, but I have zero idea what the hell the team is doing at this point.

Also I do want to say:

Welcome to Scoot! I let out a whoop went we picked him and I'm super stoked to watch his career, whether here or to someone else in an eventual trade.

I hope Dame sticks around and I think we'd have a killer three guard rotation with these two and Sharpe and then upgrade elsewhere. But I don't know if that'll happen.

But Scoot has that fire in him and I know he'll succeed whether with us or elsewhere.

Poverty franchise. I’m disgusted how they could lie to fans faces year after year saying they want to compete when they have zero interest in anything but cashing in as much as they can. Jody should have sold the team by now, she’s in it for the money and she’s a disgrace to her brothers legacy and his passion for bringing a ring to portland.

They should be called the Vultures not the Vulcans.

What. Did. We. Miss. On.

BRK passed on Simons and 3 for Mikal.
Pascal made it clear he wants to stay in TOR to get his super max.
Zion was never on the table.
LaVine doesn’t fit, moving 3 for him would be awful.
Boston just made an all-in move so clearly they wouldn’t take a pick for Brown.

Who was there? OG?

Scoot could easily end up being the best player in this draft, or he could be Wade to lebron if this is 03 in terms of star power. He would've been 1 in any other draft, way better guard moving forward than anf, more of a true point with solid speed/quickness, passing first, handles, and defensive prowess. A good comparison may be a young Chris paul. I really hope anf is gone soon assuming we keep dame

Toronto would've loved if we offered Scoot for og lol.

My suspicion is Portland just really liked Scoot after his workout more than any offer being good or bad

Scoot and Sharpe is going to be such a fun combo. Hope to see them in summer league together throwing lobs back and forth all game.

I have decided to give him personal nicknames for me to use of:

Scoot Blenderson, because he could put people's ankles in a blender.
The Crown Jewell.

Yes, I am weird.

I think it's because of the double os in Scoot. So this is sc00t. He was wearing a double zero jersey on Wednesday on his pre-draft talks.

Might be but I bet he noticed Dame was letter o and thought it'd be cool to rep his name and show respect to the home town legend with his number

Iirc... he wore 0 while playing with the Ignite, didn't he? That number, or letter is still currently in use, and may not ever be available to him to wear. Maybe 00 is just the next best thing to him.

 Scoot's gonna make Dame look old almost immediately... IF they ever hit the court together.

Train under Dame for a bit, then let him tear up the league.

Yep, I love the demeanor of this guy and people forget that is the most important trait for any player to have. This is what separated AD from Lillard, Lillard has that swagger and determination to bust his ass to be the best he can be.

AD might have a championship over Lillard, but he played on more stacked teams in his career.

I see the same type of mentality from Scoot that I saw from Dame early on. I also have a feeling Scoot admires Dame to a high level he likely is pretty happy to play along him.

Because no one thinks Dame and Scoot will both be there.
