Alright time to get one against a pretty poor contender - as in Joel has one and a half feet out of the door. Dominayton needs to show something.

I know it’s early to speak about victory GLBs, but it looks like those will be rare … special … AND so a Lottery GLB would be appreciated. Perhaps NOT for losses against projected playoff teams, but include them for losses against Washington, Charlotte, Houston, San Antonio … the competition for the top picks.

I second this. We won't have too many extra GLB pix this year so we need something new to keep the extra picks coming. Maybe if we only lose by single digits or something.

How does this sound?
After a loss I will post a consolation GLB pic and after a victory, which will sadly be rare, TWO victory GLB pics.

Ayton does not look good, or dominant… at all. I get it’s Embiid but I’m not sure what he’s going to bring.

As a center he needs the guards to set him up on offense and with a rookie pg and a sophomore sg it will take time to build chemistry. I would suggest 20 games before making any real judgements on most of the players ( and even then basing a lot of that on if they are improving or not).

Ayton would look better with Brogdon as the PG

That might be better in the short term but long term we need our young players to build chemistry. That of course carries the risk a player like Ayton losing interest but I think it's the better option for the moment.

Watching Scoot so far is going to take a lot of patience. He's got that deer in the headlights look along with a broken jump shot.

You def have a healthy perspective. I figured Chauncey would have had this squad more ready to start the season but it makes sense.

It's not an easy decision for Chauncey but watching Scoot is like watching one of those rookie QB's
and in the early season, he's like a deer in headlights.

Perhaps if Chauncey went with Brogdon, Sharpe, Grant, TL and Ayton, things would go better. I'd still
like to see Scoot get his minutes, but perhaps what he needs is to come off the bench and get some
time against the opponent's bench.

Alternatively he could use less of Jerami Grant flailing around in the post after an iso drive in which he slips on the floor (This has happened at least twice, if not three times, in every. single. game).

Scoot looks like a young PG. And one who is trying to play aggressively on defense, picking up inexperienced fouls in the process which hurts his flow. I'm not worried about him.

I agree w this. I don’t think starting him right now is going to help him build his confidence at all. Which is pretty much the X factor.
