Grant really thinks he’s Lebron out there. Puts his head down and gets to the hoop like Lebron, but completely out of control with no finishing touch.

Yeah I don't think black hole Grant is helping.

Sharpe has been shaky, but those clutch free throws and that massive block were huge!

Someone needs to find a way to light a fire in Sharp.

Love these plucky wins. Good for team morale and great for the young guys to get experience in significant roles during close games.

3 Stars of the night:

-Shaedon Sharpe… the kid seems to have that it factor. Making clutch plays on both sides of the ball and not letting a cold shooting night deter him from a strong finish. Finished a not terrible 7/16 from the field after his cold start. Even more impressed by some big plays on D down the stretch… including that beautiful block.

-Team Defense: We got back into this game with key stops and controlled most of OT thanks to our defensive pressure. Our close outs are getting tighter, rotations are moving faster, and we are getting our hands on a lot of deflections. Watching how Camara plays defense… he has his rookie blunders, but looks like a vet at moments on that end.

-Chauncey Billups’ Towel: It kept Chauncey’s dome cool and dry down the stretch, which I can appreciate as a fellow bald man.

Kidding aside, I give Chauncey criticism when I feel it’s warranted, so it’s only fair I acknowledge positives when they are too… The way the team is coming together and playing defense reflects well on the coaching staff, and I like that he had the stones to throw Camara into the starting line up in the second half. Camara had a very impactful second half on the defensive end consequently, which helped win the game.

That said… it was probably the towel.

I would love to see Sharp actually play 40 mpg and not disappear for 30 of it.

That's going to be a prime Kobe's or at least George's caliber player then. I think it's too much to expect that from a 20-year-old guy with limited playing experience.

This was 100% the type of game I want from Ayton. I would still prefer that he take a few more shots. He was 7 for 11 I think he could have been 10 for 15. His rebounding and defense has been exactly what we need. He is far and away our most efficient scorer... when a guy is converting that high percentage you should look to get him more shots in his sweet spots.

Well said ! I enjoy watching y’all. Don’t be like suns fans . We never really complimented and talked up his great games and the majority of suns fans just focused on some bad plays and bad games . Then just put him down in the dirt.

I hope the fans keep backing this team. I think they will, it’s a super likable group. Having zero expectations helps, but also just having a bunch of good vibe dudes who just go all out all game - it’s easy to root for.

Yep, they play hard and are really trying to get better on D and have, can't ask for much more, so much better for me than last couple years. I watched a good bit of the Bucks/Knicks yesterday and focused on Lillard on D - talk about no effort!
