Looks like we got a lot of work ahead of us, Scoot is disappointing and Sharpe is hit and miss...hopefully that guy who SUCKS brings some life to this team when he comes back from the thumb. This is not coaching this is lack of talent on the floor.

It's his first game, he's only 19, he's coming back from an injury, he's only 22 guys! This would be his 3rd year in the NBA if he had gone to 4 years of college, and players take a 3rd year leap....

All I'm getting at is its pretty premature to start calling him a bust. Kid is a quality passer and has the physical tools we need to give it time before we can determine what we have. He gets wide open threes and I think they'll start to fall more, his shooting mechanics don't look awful. He seemed like he was starting to get better at nba pace before the injury and point guards don't generally play like studs overnight you have to let them marinade a couple seasons. Dame had 4 years it's hard to come in the league instantly playing that well but 4 years is a huge leg up and at 19 I do believe it's nut bar factor 6 to declare him a bust already with sebastian Telfair we had 2 years to determine what he was with Scoot we aren't even in the first quarter yet..

I said it before, but after watching last night the Blazers 100% need to be playing 4-out with Jabari at PF. Ayton comes and sets
screens. Spacing is a massive issue for the team offensively, and this would help somewhat.

Defense is a whole other can of worms. But Chauncey needs to be watching film of Orlando right now. Their deny-action defense is insane.

I didn't say he is a bust, I said I was disappointed so far between injuries and his play.

Scoot has been a bit rough with his shooting but that could just be a bit of a slump, I think he has impressed with his vision and understanding where to pass the ball. He also is making the right read on attacking the basket he just leaves it a bit short or can't quite get it above the rim.

Westbrook took time to become what he did, if you look at rookie Westbrook he looked a lot worse than he did 2-3 years in. Having early injury woes is definitely not helping him get better though. I also will point out this is one of our best games as far as moving the ball, and it's not really a surprise this happens once Scoot comes back. We go from a team where it's all ISO and the game Scoot comes back they move the ball much better.

Jabari is becoming one of the better backup 4/5s in the league. He's not there yet but he's close.
