Scoot has looked absolutely superb tonight. Best half yet. Just under control, turns on the speed when he needs. Passing well. Huge show of progression here. So nice to see him under control.

Yeah that's a solid half. His 3s are starting to fall more lately too which bodes well

Interesting the Spurs are sitting Victor for they don't want a two game winning streak to
interfere with their tank

He's not a bad shooter. He's not good, but he's not like awful-bad. You can see the potential is there. His mechanics are not broken.

He just has to adjust. And you hear about how he's staying after games to shoot, so I know he's going to be in the gym this summer working on his left hand and his shot.

It's really just inconsistency... Bad footwork that's kinda overcomeable at 12 feet, but much harder to overcome when you're out at 20 feet.

This website is knee jerk city. Scoot is going to be nasty.

We're a very myopic people. It's overcast here nine out of twelve months. Not everyone can maintain my optimism.

It's just generally natural doom and gloom.

Sort of yes but it's kind of hard to know what you've got when a rookie has ups and downs especially when we've been accustomed to Dames all star heroics for a decade plus. I dont doubt Scoot can be solid but I'm reserving judgement either way until he consistently pulls it together. Tonight looks like a really solid building block and dare I say it a glimmer of what he might be in a few years?

I was more talking about the general board and some people on the draft board. There have been some serious hot takes flying around since his first few games.

Oh lol.

There's a couple Hornets fans on the draft board that do the same. I pay them no mind, the agenda is clear. It's all good.
