I have to say that about 65-70% of Portland's wins this season is because of having Brogdon. This guy is the X factor with his experienced veteran play. If Portland doesn't have Brogdon, we're looking at about 4-5 wins this year instead of 13. No joke.

Sigh…

It’s absolutely pointless playing Brogdon 41+ minutes in this game…actually, I take that back. Maybe Chauncey is hunting Ws to try and keep his job…

Flirting with inevitable injury playing Brogdon this much, which is stupid if you’re trying to trade him. No contender looking to make a PO push is going to give a bag of chips for a player with a season-ender.

Ayton needs to bottle whatever he was drinking tonight and drink a 2liter of it every game day. This performance should be his FLOOR.

Brogdon is a solid pro but hopefully Portland will get a lottery protected pick when he gets traded.

In the meantime, he's a role model for Scoot

I’ve pushed for Brogdon to be a Blazer starting about 4 years ago, and got flamed for it. I love old school, steady players in that mold.

But the Blazers aren’t getting anything if he goes down with an injury while Chauncey is trying to win games at the cost of getting meaningful minutes to a future cornerstone of the franchise.

Oh yeah it was a really good performance by Ayton. He couldn't outplay Sengun one-on-one but at least he bullied the turk man really nicely.

He's still completely lost in defensive sets, but he has flashes on help defense. What I liked most about his performance in this game was that his numbers were cumulative throughout the game--it didn't take force feeding him to get his game going.

The team really does look different, and slightly better with him available. But IMO, the real reason the Blazers have been better has been giving Walker more minutes and switching Grant to SF. I haven't looked it up, but it feels like the difference in rebounding has been substantial.

Yeah that's right. Reath seriously lacks the size to be a meaningful rebounder and inside defender. With him on the court, the team performs significantly worse when we look at hustling and defensive metrics.
