Shaedon is going to undergo surgery later this week for his abductor/core muscle injury, as the team explains during the rampup to return he experienced worsening symptoms.

I think this means that it's almost certain that Brogdon will not be traded.

This is a big blow. Shaedon's development was one of the keys to the Blazers' season, IMHO. He hasn't really had the opportunity. Hope he can get his body right the same way Lillard did...

Oh, man, that's a big bummer. Shaedon had some nice stretches this season, along with some understandable growing pains. I hope he's able to come back full-strength for next season.

The fact that he continued to play through the injury, despite it coinciding with him throwing up bricks (i.e. clearly it was affecting him greatly as his very solid 3Pt % absolutely nosedived) is very disappointing.

He also returned after a few games break, only to aggravate it (and he hasn't played since).

There appears to have been some poor decisions made by the collective coaching group. I'm sure Shaedon would have been pushing to play, as he seems like someone who loves to be out there on the court. But this is where the coaching staff have to talk him down and let things heal.

There's every chance that this wouldn't have helped anyway, but it wouldn't have hurt.

Maybe this training & medical staff should be investigated?! Isnt this the same injury suffered, & surgery needed by 3 of our players last year?
