Blazers should have kept Mays. I recognize that he's probably never practiced with the team, but this Hagans player is garbo.

Have they given any reason that Scoot and Ayton aren't playing?

Here's where Chauncey pisses away a game for the Blazers...team going to actually run a play besides calling 1 on 5 for Grant? lol

After about 15 straight trips with the exact same play. So predictable.

Yeesh. Billups exposed...can't get the team to run plays. You can't ask Grant to score every time the last 17 minutes of a game. He's not that kind of player and Detroit is good enough defensively to swallow that up. Only way is team ball and Chauncey isn't capable of making that happen. I suppose that's what happens when your two best players are ISO players...

Good loss. Too bad this year's draft sucks.

And Chauncey is out there on the court smiling and hugging it up with Detroit players. He just got his a$$ handed to him in a super embarrassing loss and he's out there like it's a 4th of July family picnic.

I can't wait for this joke of a coach to be out of Portland. Sadly, he won't be. No real system on either side of the ball and worst assistants in the NBA. He makes Stotts look like Red Auerbach.

is after a do-nothing trade deadline, followed by being outscored by 19 points in the 4thQ and OT, at home, by the worst team in the league, considered a bad 12 hours?

Cronin hasn't done bad imo, he did well with the biggest trade of the Last decade with the lillard move and did well not trading brog in a really questionable guard market at the deadline. To me the powell move is still the biggest meh move but otherwise, not horrible.

-powell trade- ok ill admit this one was a head scratcher, the other ones though...
-Cj for pick and fodder ultimately turning into jerami - Acceptable
-Dame for players that ultimately became 3-5 firsts depending on swaps and prior obligations being fulfilled with chicago plus brog and timelord. - looks like a better return than most were claiming we'd pull
-re signing grant- overpaid but he's probably movable and a similar if not more valuable asset as a wing than cj was as a tweener 2
-drafting sharpe and scoot doesn't look horrible, both look like good picks compared to who else was available with those picks
-Ayton trade - Sort of meh but arguably worth the gamble since we didn't give up anything super valuable

I don't think cronin is the worst, I think we could've landed ainge which I'd say was the biggest mistake in this equation not giving him whatever he wanted to come to portland. But it's not cronins fault we couldn't go after the home run choice

Billups however, has just stank.

Hagans has been with the Reign all season so he should know the sets. He sucked there too so choosing him over Mays is inexcusable.

So it had NOTHING to do with a point guard that Billups was forced to play that had 2 career minutes coming into the Detroit game?

There were no play makers out there. Only Grant had the ability to score. Had Simons not got injured, the Blazers win that game. Honestly, do you really think Camara or Thybulle could help carry the scoring load? It's like people forget when it comes to role players that they get their buckets a lot of times because of the playmakers out there. Again, the problem was nobody was one.

By your argument Popovich has been exposed. Look at the Spurs record this year. Look at it last year. Maybe the Spurs should fire Popovich.
