Yes. We are one game ahead of the Hornets, and losing this would make us tied. But we're also sporting a 10 game losing streak, and Dalano Banton is our best player, so I doubt that another win happens. But if it did, it would either be this game or the Wizards game.

Well this win probably locks us into fifth. It would've been nice to drop down to third, but this win is much more tolerable and fun than the inexplicable Memphis wins.

My gut was saying the same. Feels like a pretty obvious win given this a Blazers season where everything that could go wrong has.

rather senseless win that could have been avoided but Chauncey gave Ayton and Scoot over 37 minutes each.

Hornets better at tanking

Yeesh...can't even lose correctly. Historically bad team, with a coach to match.

To be fair, playing Scoot 37 minutes typically leads to a loss...

Scoot has missed a lot of games and likely needs as much time on the court now and during the summer
to get ready for next season. This is the type of draft where picking 3 or 5 might not really matter given
there is no consensus #1 pick

The 2006 draft was viewed of as really weak, and we ended up with Roy and Aldridge. And Rondo, Lowry, and Millsap were in there. Even Sergio Rodríguez wasn't really a bust. So, it comes down to talent evaluation and luck.

I tuned out after my teams got eliminated. But I'd love a 2nd round pick being N'Faly Dante. Honestly watched more college ball this year than pro ball. And the Ducks were a two man team, injured to just him and Couisnard. Something in the water in Oregon with all of these injuries, which is ironic because most of Oregon has great drinkable tap water. But that duo won the final Pac-12 championship, made it to the round of 32, and nearly made the sweet 16.

Ayton with one of the best rebounding numbers since the all-star break of any C including the true superstars in the league like Jokic and Embiid.

We might have ended up netting a huge upgrade over Nurkic if Ayton can keep this type of play up. This Suns trade could go down as being one of the best trades in a long time for the Blazers.

PG is one of the hardest positions to move into in the NBA, he needs to improve but it's way too early to act like he is a bust or a done deal.

If we would have drafted a 19 year old Lillard he also likely would have needed more time on the court to even hit that rookie level he showed back in 2012-2013 season.
