What the hell are the Pelicans doing? You're literally fighting for playoff contention while letting Duop Reath own you.

Somebody has to remind Chauncey the Blazers are only 1 game behind the Spurs for a tie for fourth place.

Now is not the time for meaningless wins

Well Charlotte is now 2 games ahead of us in the tank race, and The Spurs are only 1 game ahead it's possible we can jump the Spurs but we have to lose at least one more game than they do.

if Ayton would have sat in Charlotte and the Blazers lost that game, like they needed too, there would be a 3-eay tie right now for 3rd in the lottery.

this is a season when the worst outcome to just about any situation is the outcome Portland manged to land on

Time to send Brandon Roy to the draft lottery again and hope he helps us move up like he has the last two times he's done it.

I'm not sure a real difference maker is gonna be there for us in this draft, regardless of if we get the 4th or 5th or 6th pick or whatever from those lottery odds. At any of those picks we'll probably have a choice between a couple players who might end up being decent pieces down the road. I guess more choices is technically better but regardless we'll have fairly similar potential outlooks in that range.

I was actually at the game (first time this season). They gave us all Jamba Juice because some kid scored three free throws during a timeout. Good job, some kid!

Right. Everyone is trashing the entire draft class while equally stressing about the 4th or 5th pick.

It's pretty rare for a draft to be complete and utter garbage from top to bottom without even a few high quality players to potential stars in it.

People were saying the 2020 draft was going to be super weak but some high end talent has come out of there with Ant Edwards and Haliburton among others.

The plus side of a perceived "weak" draft is that it makes it a bit more of crapshoot, so the likelihood of getting the best player in the draft class outside of the top 3 or 4 a lot higher. On the down side, it makes picking a total flop of a player in the top 5-10 a lot easier too.

I basically have no strong opinion about any player in this draft outside of Sarr. I get his potential and skillset, and not even saying I thin he'll be a bad pro, but he reeks of Wemby FOMO imo.

This also feels like a year the Blazers will probably end up winning the lottery, when being #1 probably couldn't matter less.

Its not that the draft top to bottom stinks, its that there is a pretty clear lack of blue chip talent.

This draft looks like a repeat of 2022 minus starting at pick 4. No blue chip prospects but like 2022,
there are bigs to match Duren, Williams and Kessler in Clingan, Edey and has more big man depth
than most drafts
