Im not trying to 'diss' Snapper, its just every game it was the
same old stuff and that gets boring pretty fast. But he wasnt bad.

Well, contrary to your frequently amusing pre-game keys to victory, the "same old stuff" (shooting percentage, rebounding, turnovers, getting to the line) explains virtually all wins in the NBA. Snapper understands this and harped on those elements constantly.

I like Rice a lot, but I'd take Steve Jones back for sure. I think Rice would make a good third man, like Walton was with Jones and whomever was doing play-by-play for NBC (I think those two were usually with Mike Breen or Tom Hammond).

Rice used to be gold with Wheels before they got that stuttering clown Harvey to give his "analysis." However, I hate Rice on TV.

Our broadcasts, during the rebuilding stage a couple years ago, had to be glamorized by the commentators, and Snapper certainly didn't fit that role. He's about as objective as they come. Now that we're back to some respectability, I'd love to see a better partner with MB on TV: one that actually analyzes the game instead of talking like a crazy drunk.
