We need a scorer & Agent 0 is still young enough!!
He is also a smart player & would share the shots if
he was on a team with Roy, LMA, Oden & Outlaw.. .

(Yes, I put Outlaw with the 3.)

I'm always surprised when people can't conjugate to be and other simple stuff.

I tried to make the case for Agent Zero to be on the team last year and got shot down. Gilby and Roy in the same backcourt would be scary indeed. I'd even like that better than the Roy/Gordon idea. A 30ppg guy who can still dish out 6apg while throwing in a couple of steals, and a 23/6/7 guy (about where I think Roy will end up), and you're talking a team that is whipping the ball around like crazy and nailing open shots like they are going out of style. If Arenas ever wanted out of DC, I'd be more than happy to make him a home in Oregon.

You're driving me nuts with that. Outlaw's just not that affective at the 3. If he has a future with the Blazers it's going to be in the backup power forward role he's been so good in.

We need a guy like Agent Zero like we need a hole in our collective head. He's the kind of guy that would totally screw our chemistry.

What do you base that on? His thinking he deserved to be on the Olympics? If so, I think this team can use a little swagger like that. Lamarcus calling one in a hundred opponents "bitch" just isn't enough for me.

Hehe, "the 3" meaning Roy, LMA & Oden. Sorry for the confusion.

I agree with you aswell, Outlaw is a PF.
But I disagree that Gilb would screw things up.

I can never decide if I like the idea of bringing in Arenas or not. Some days I think it's a great idea, other times I think it's awful.

PROS:

*A scoring PG would be ideal next to Roy. Especially a scoring PG who's not that bad at getting assists either.
*He's got a playful attitude that would likely mesh well with the Blazers.
*Gives Portland some star power and would bring a little more national attention to the team.

CONS:

*He can let his mouth run a bit too much.
*When his shot isn't falling, he'll keep shooting it. He can single handedly win a game as quickly as he can shoot you out of a game.
*He can sometimes be a bit too selfish when looking for his own shot.

Oh well, I don't see Portland having any sort of shot at him anyway. Gilbert is going to opt out this summer and then likely resign with the Wizards. Even if he were to not opt out this summer, I still don't think Portland would have enough to just sign him outright. They'd have to try and workout a S&T with Washington, and I don't think Portland would give up what Washington would want.

Do you really need our help figuring it out?

I know he's the topic of endless debate, but I'd take him on the Blazers with open arms. Y'all want Ben Gordon? Gilbert is what Gordon wishes he could be. Gilbert can also keep Portland pretty weird. Plus, with his insane range, he'd open the floor up so much easier for Oden in the middle and even James Jones in his favorite spots.

i dont think arenas would ever fit in here. the guy is as selfish as it gets and you all know that. the guy cares more about personal vendettas than anything...remember this is the guy that guaranteed to drop 50 on us last year?

he's a great talent, but not a team guy...look at how well the wizards are playing without his ass. he's a funny guy, great talent, great scorer and an entertainer for sure, but would never fit in with this team.

Who cares. He's typing how he speaks. He speaks in the way that is natural to him. I'm pretty sure he could properly conjugate any verb like any other (village) idiot, but its not necessarily comfortable for him to do so. You should also take into consideration that some people just don't care about grammar all that much. big deal. He still got his point across.

I'll bet you $50 if he were to come to the Blazers
he would share the ball & more then he does now.

You have to remember the team he is on, its their
best bet to win the game for him to try & score a ton.

.... Caron Butler and Jamison aren't half bad. I think he does share the ball enough and would if he were to go to Portland. He has 2 targets there... he'd have over 7 here.

And here's what he said in October of last year at the Wizards' media day:

This is a decent enough point. The Wizards have a very nice team (when they're all healthy, of course) but Portland has a nice bidding package. Gilbert's role on the team would be defined. His personality would probably be welcome in a city that sees its players as one of their own. Gilbert and Nate would have to do a little bonding, but I think your future lineup of Arenas/Roy/?/Aldridge/Oden is dangerous enough to do great things.
