Gotta win this last home game to give us momentum going into the 7-game road trip. No Roy for another game could be big though.

This one is gonna be TOUGH. Definitely need a win here to keep some distance between us and GS, especially with the road trip on the horizon.

Is Brandon Roy playing? You need him, the Warriors are stacked at the perimeter!

Definitely will be a tough one. Ever since they got Jackson back they have been pretty hot (not as hot as us, but hot enough). Plus, they're going to want to run it and we're going to want to keep the pace controlled. At the end of the game, I expect that to be the key factor--if they get us running up and down in a sprinting layup drill, I think they win; if we can control the boards and really limit our turnovers, keeping the pace slow, then we should be able to match up nicely against them.

Hopefully we can win because it sure doesn't get much easier.

According to OregonLive, Roy will give it a go, as his bruise is feeling better each day.

Unclear 'til game time.. .
-

S. Jackson was on the FAN Primetime radio show today
and he was putting Roy up there with Kobe and James.
I was a little thrown.. .then he goes on to say that if
Roy isnt on the All-Star team then theres a player that
shouldnt be on the team. Jackson gave a lot of respect
to Roy & Outlaw. He also went on & told he was trying
to turn his life around. You know Ive never liked the guy,
even before the Pacer brawl and still dont care for him
that much but I hope he does turn his life around.. .

Anyway, should be a real fun game to watch if both
teams can bring their "A Games". Im sure it will be
played like a playoff game, very intense & full blast.

Key for the Blazers to win this game.
*Score more points then the Warriors.

Side note:
I shaved my head so if the Blazers lose you can blame me.

Key is to slow it down and play our style of basketball and let Sergio run with them sometimes..

If Roy is a go then the Warriors might not even want to show up...Blazers dominate at Home.......

You may be getting ahead of yourself there. Golden State is a tough team when they're hot and home or not, it'll be a tough game. I'm not going to predict the outcome but it's a pretty even matchup and either team could come away with the win tommorow.

Last time they played us, it seemed like they were still on the high off beating San Antonio, and forgot to show up. I'm expecting the same this time around as they are once again coming to Portland after an emotional OT win against SA.

This should be a good game for us as their defense sucks and our matchup zones should be enough to keep them off balance. Last time, they chucked 35 threes and made only 13. We'll probably see the same tomorrow night. As long as we don't get caught up in their pace and their insane chucking, we should be fine.

Oh, I caught that S-Jax interview on 1080. Dude was raving about Roy and the Blazers just as Nellie was after our previous game against them.

This is going to be a barn burner. I wish we'd start Sergio this game and simply outrun the Warriors.

I gotta think we get this one. The Rose Garden has been off the hook for this season. I hope the crazy dudes who sit behind me in the rafters are there tonight. They bring some serious energy with them.

I wonder what the origin of that expression is...I don't get it really. Is like a coat off the hook?...a steelhead?...a guy who finds out his girlfriend isn't pregnant after all?...is the RG crowd like that guy?

Key difference being that the last matchup was on the end of a back to back.

Plus you guys didn't have Ellis for that game. To be honest, he kinda scares me in this game. He's so quick! This should be a good one.

it's going to be an interesting match vs. a golden st. team that most likely be over 100pts, can the blazers outscore them?

who will fall into which teams type of game?

i think the key is to limit baron davis. he seems to never give up and when you least expect it he gets on fire.

bench playing is going to be another key factor. i also suppose there will be a lot of open shots.

this could be an interesting game for sergio.
