Rooting against other teams... finally means something!

Post#1 » by SabasRevenge! » Sat Jan 12, 2008 2:50 am

One of my favorite parts of this incredible run has been finally having a reason to root for division and some conference rivals to lose. Of course, I've always rooted against the Lakers and Jazz, but now it actually means something.

Yea, I'm watching the Orlando-Denver game rooting against Denver right now. Oh yeah, and Dwight Howard is a god damn monster.

Havent felt this way about the Blazers since like 1993.

Even when we won but had the moron players, it wasnt
the same. Its different now, its like the Porter Blazers.. .

Well, we might be seeing something like or BETTER than that in the darn near future.

+1. While I didn't mind the blazers team of the late 90's and early 2000's since they did win, they didn't to have as much of a will to win as this bunch. Granted, they were 1 game seven WCF game away from going to the finals and most likely winning the title, this current Blazers team seems to be more willing to do everyting necessary to win, and they're definitely an upgrade as far as off-the court issues. The only thing is, I think the Blazers need to find a way to get rid of Miles before next season season AT THE LATEST to place the final nail in the coffin of the jailblazers era.

I certainly hope so, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like Howard.

Return to Portland Trail Blazers
