Portland Trailblazers 22-13 VS. Toronto Raptors 19-17

Post#1 » by Charlie78 » Sun Jan 13, 2008 2:16 am

Thought Id start a thread since we are less than 24 hrs from gametime. I am really excited for a number of reasons.

-I love day games on sundays. To me there is nothing as cool aswaking up on sunday to a blazers game. I especially like this one because it is extra early so i can just roll over in bed.

-One of the few games on this road trip I will be able to watch as I cant get comcast were I live and so am screwed.

-I think this is the most important game of the trip. Winning this would set the tone aginst a very good raptors team and get this trip off to a nice start

- i think we match up really well with them . I love Bargnani starting at center because that allows us to put joel on bosh and play him physical. While aldridge can hang out at the three point line.

I am going to go with a big blazers win in this one wire to wire.

sice it's the 1st of the road trip it's going to be a very important game.

the blazers must win to keep their momentum going and to have the confidence necessary to maintain their past 18 games lever in the next 7.

and well, again, a new battle between the realgm fans of the raptors and the blazers.

In preparation, all of us should rewatch the South Park movie and memorize all the lyrics to "Blame Canada!" :D

Good luck guys, lets hope for a good game.
I do what I feel, not because people ask me to do this,” Bargnani says, holding his hands over his head and doing a strange chicken dance.

so we all agree? raps win, and in the process commence your trail back to league bottom dwellers; until that is, your messiah recovers from knee surgery.

just kidding. this should be fun, i'm almost scared of you guys. good luck.

Well were alot better than Toronto so we should win this one. I just hope the early start doesn't throw us off our mojo.

Y...not really. The way we won last time will be impossible to duplicate in Air Canada Center. (Yeah, center.)

I have a bad feeling about this because that Raptors crowd will probably be brutal. I just hope Joel and LaMarcus throw some weight around.

Lets keep the boards & chat room friendly between the Raps & Blazers fans!!

The Blazers have a tough time sometimes winning
on the road. I think for the Blazers to win this game
against the Raps theyre going to have to play one of
their best games of the season. The time of the game
might come into play to. Either way it should be fun!!

Key for the Blazers to win.
*Control the paint both offensively & deffensively.

Its not jive, the Blazers can win five.. .in a row!!

9:30 a.m....that is like you and I playing at 3 o'clock in the morning. :sleep2: Roy is still hurting and Blake will likely be out. Look for Portland to be sluggish and lethargic.. Blazers lose.

My son could've been a doctor or a lawyer, rich and true.
Instead he watches the Raptors with Bargnani missing two.
Should we blame Mitchell?
Should we blame the refs?
Or the GM who could have picked Aldridge or Roy too?
Heck, no!

Blame Canada!
Blame Canada!
With all their hockey hullabaloo
And that bitch, Anne Murray, too.

Bargnani drops 40 on us and Roy and Aldridge shoot a combined 1-20 and all us uppity Portland fans get the pwning we deserve.

Haha, no seriously though...we win this game, along with every other game we play against them for the next 12+ years.

Then again, maybe not.

Go Blazers!

Trolling and profanity are unacceptable on RealGM. Consider yourself officially warned. Do not do it again.
