What!!?? No Game Thread!!?? - Blazers @ Nets

Post#1 » by Mr Odd » Mon Jan 14, 2008 11:22 pm

Im horrible at making game threads so I wont even try.
Maybe someone else can put the pictures up & all of that.

:)

Key for the Blazers to win.
*Dont let the Nets have any easy baskets, no 2nd chance points.

Lets hope the Blazers start a new winning streak starting tonight!!

Portland has traditionally matched up very poorly with the Nets to the tune of some UGLY games. The Zach-era Blazers would hold NJ under 70 points...and still lose.

We're all aware of New Jersey's big three, but Portland is a much deeper team and should use this to their advantage. The Nets have home court but the Izod Center's reputation isn't as glowing as others.

Don't worry man, I got your back. But this will be a lopsided game either way. Whoever wins will win by 15+ points.

scrappy game so far, I didn't realize how gross NJ's post situation was til I saw lineups.

Indeed. Joel started well, as did Lamarcus. THey basically tower over anyone NJ has.

honestly having Blake back is huge, he just fits in so much better with the starters then Jack does.

I HATE NATIONALLY TELEVISED GAMES!

I could be watching this at work right now, but instead I'm stuck with the box scores. Looks like Brandon and Lamarcus are both off to great starts.

Virtually nothing with this team frustrates me more than when Sergio and Jack are the backcourt, but Jack takes the ball-handling duties.

Jesus, JAck and Rodriguez can be instant offense for both us and the other team, haha. As soon as i started watching its a 10-2 run, yikes.

I dunno what the deal is but honestly as soon as the whole 2nd unit comes in its like they forget how to play basketball. There is no movement, nobody wants to take the shots. Its just drive and pass til you have to toss something up.

I realize Sergio is popular cause he can pass like Nash/Kidd at times but in the past couple games he seems to over dribble it. I almost want to say Jack looks better at PG then Sergio but that might be going a hair to far ... LOL. I do wonder if Sergio keeps struggling if Green gets a min or 2. I like Sergio but he plays very Hot and Cold and when he is going Whoa makes you think move Blake to bench but when he is Cold it's like the cold from the Movie "The Day after Tomorrow"
