It's gotta be either an injury to one of the key players (Roy, Aldridge, Outlaw) or news about Miles. No one will know about Fernandez until after they win the ULEB Cup and the ACB League Championship. It's gotta be about Miles unofficially calling it a career after the season.

GoBlazersGo

Pritchard
"Brandon Roy is so good that he's whatever he wants to be (positionwise)," he said. "We need another attacker and I think Rudy will help us in that regard."

Its from a OregonLive/The Associated Press.

No way it's a key injury. There's no reason to tease a story like that. That's the type of thing you just report.

Freeman did his bit. Had nothing interesting to say. What a colossal let down.

how long did we hold onto our shorts this summer?

this probably won't be as long but the payoff could be really small

Rose publically stated that he would force a trade to play for the only city named after him.

That could be a RealGM first mention of the ole stomping grounds. As for basketball, they don't even have a good highschool team. Football yes, basketball no.

TBPup you are from Roseburg originally? That's too funny. The football team definitely is not what it used to be during the glory days of Thurman Bell football. Actually the basketball team isn't half bad and makes the playoffs consistently. The reason I know this is because I grew up in Glide. I would be stunned if anybody else on this forum knew my town existed.

Actually, my dad's whole family is from Roseburg. Then my dad moved to medford. As a medical family, I'm sure you'd been to one of my family members (Driver) to get a routine cleaning or if you've ever been to the ER.

Strange how Roseburg actually ended up being on topic. I had much higher hopes for this thread :)

My family is friends with some Drivers, one of whom is an urgent care physician in Roseburg. Any relation?
