He's a urologist, so if you ever get into a conversation with your god-father, ask if he knows the Driver name

SinceClyde...I spoke to my god-mother and she knows him, I guess they have partied together at Mercy functions, and Tony knows him very well.

So wait....you and T-Blazer are related somehow?

Maybe the news is we're signing Chris Childs to a 10-day contract? Do we play the Lakers in the next 10 days?

you'd think if there was anything there, we'd have heard about it by now. Jason Quick isn't the only reporter with access to the blazers

Yea I was talking about that long ago. I was refering to Mike.

Wow, ya I've been rafting down the rogue a few times with Mike. I'm Brandon, Brett's brother. It's a small world, after all.

Yea, the moment you said that your god-father was head of mercy, I'd figured there would have to be at lease some acquaintance.

RE: T blazer and me being related; I don't think we are directly related because it's getting into past marriages but he's related to my half brothers/sisters, so he's related to my relatives...I guess :hug:

I would say only in Oregon but this stuff happens all the time. That was weird.

BTW this seems to be a fruitless thread?

Each number is asigned a letter. Such as.. .
1 = a
2 = c
5 = e

The x's marked the end of a word.
The z's marked the end of the first letter in a word.

Holy Crap! Thank you so much Monsieur Odd! And congrats on the sig!

Does Quick have access to Blazers brain trust? He gets to talk to Nate and hear Nate say the same things we all hear 150 times during the year. He gets to talk to the players and hear the same canned answers we hear from them when someone puts a microphone in front of them. He gets to see the players in the locker room when its open and the players know he is there. He gets to watch practices when they are open and the players know he is there. The team also has at least one open practice that fans get to see every year and there is nothing insightful happening there. He does get pregame information before we do but I believe that is the minimum information that every team shares with local media.

When is the last time Jason Quick or John Canzano had breaking news? The only thing I can recall is when they dig up some dirt in the community. Basketball news usually comes from the Blazers when they are ready to share or out of town media.

yea, if miles was going to get a medical retirement, they wouldnt have any reason to be so quiet about it. It was a nice hope, but I think its nothing too impressive.

I'm guessing the big news is that Oden started to practice with the team a little bit
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

It's positive, but it's kind of a let down that it wasn't Miles' retirement =/
