Jokic is good enough that he doesn't need the refs letting him get away with moving screens

What a game!
Monk is truly the Xfactor this season. When he is on this team wins.
Kings had 3 players score 30+, I can't remember that ever happening with this team

So in Kings losses it’s all on Fox. But in a win when he takes over in the 4th not a peep. SMH

Re: Game 33 Thread - Kings (17-15) vs Nuggets (22-11)
That's a nice win. Even with Denver without two of its starters.
I don't like pointing out refs too much, like I thought last night the Nuggets got a few phantom calls in the first half and then the Kings paid for it in the second so it evened out somewhat, but why is it the Kings can't get the same calls as the opposition for the most part?
Fox gets called for a carry last night and you had Bones and KCP doing it all game tonight, far more than Fox did.
Same pair again, Bones snake dribbling all game and jumping and bumping the defender, and Fox does it and gets called the offensive foul. FWIW I think ALL of these types of moves should be called offensive foul.
Moving screens. As soon as Domas shifts his hips it's a moving screen, yet Joker does it a lot.
The Kings could have cost themselves this game
Davion better have received the DPOTG chain. He turned this thing around.
Fox was great and played well throughout. Thought he struggled defensively on Bones, but came alive on that end when Davion took him. I said it last season and still believe it to be true. Fox shouldn't be the POA defender. Problem is we don't have a starter that can do it. I believe that was the theory behind Okpala starting the season.

Also, WTF was that crap on Okpala.
If KCP can play half the game with his shirt untucked then what is the REAL difference of a player checking into the game with his shirt untucked. It's not a delay of game and if they really cared about such things there would be delay of games left and right. Such as when Joker got called for travel and started walking down the court with the ball, talking to the ref to his left and then threw the ball to the ref on the other side of the court at mid court. Like, THAT is delay of game when the other team wants to inbound quickly.

Hey, just curious how is Keegan? Haven’t been able to keep up but I have been looking at the box scores. Has he hit his rookie wall? Our rookie is in a slump so I was just wondering.

Keegan started out great offensively and he was given the tough defensive assignments early on.
He really struggled there and got lit up by the other teams' main scorer.
Then he started to struggle big time on offense for November (see his monthly stats below).
He was making small strides defensively as he came off the main scorer.
December he has been really good IMO (there are plenty here that would disagree). His shooting has been much better, except for the FT line.
His D is coming along very nicely. He is still too slow on the occasional rotation, but he also gets caught out trying to help off his man.
He does have a thumb injury which isn't great for a shooter, and particularly a timid player the coaching staff wants to get more aggressive, which he needs to do.
Overall, he's a rookie on a team that has a chance to make POs. He has a VERY short leash. IMO the coaching staff could make it easier for him by focusing on the things he is good at (catch & shoot). But having said that, I know Keegan will be much better in the long run by going through these things. He isn't good off the dribble and doesn't create for himself enough.
He won't be the overall scorer or playmaker that a guy like Paulo is, but he's going to be a better version of a 3&D player at the absolute minimum.

Thank you for the explanation. I am secretly hoping that Orlando takes his brother Kris in the upcoming draft (mind you, I don’t keep up with the college kids nor all the other prospects) because I like Keegan so much. It’s understandable for Keegan’s defensive lapses, he’s playing against better opponents then he did in college and I really want to see what playoff Keegan looks like. Good luck with you team except against the Magic.
