This game confirms our strengths and weaknesses, unfortunately the bad is beating the good right now, which includes the coaching and a lack of design plays to counteract their size advantage..

Everyone but Domas and Fox have been off

Lot of summer growth needed from Keegan/Keon/Davion

Getting crushed now, running last season back was not enough.

Yeah the offense is just so bad against long, athletic defenders, and bad threes and hero ball are what we resort to. We need an offense to counter that defense.

We really can't seem to overcome it. To make things worse our scoring drought gives them some advantages getting the ball down in transition, they then take advantage of it offensively.

None of the other players has been consistent, especially on offense.

Fox has led by example, and the team has competed but are outgunned and outcoached.

More physically outclassed than anything against New Orleans. Something we've all seen very clearly for two years now that our lack of size gives us problems against teams like this. It needs to be addressed or we will not be able to compete deep in the playoffs.

Another issue, to beat their length we need to move the ball much more. The hand off or central Sabonis offense isn't working. But we don't really have many play making ability beyond Sabonis. Sometimes Monk can do ok to other bigs.

That is a symptom of poor coaching also

I wanted to go one game without saying it (but the box score stares at me), I truly did, and when he was solid earlier and so much of the rest of the roster was bad, but Fox 12-29, 4/16 from 3 to annoy me some more in a game I thought he came out as a strong entity

I’ll write in depth about it but his play for me lacked this year in the efficiency department. A step back from first year under Brown.

Not that I blame him for this loss, the rest of the roster was bad and Domas didn’t own the center matchup like he should’ve, but, season trend which continued to the ‘offs - both games

Live by the three die by the three and we died. Monk certainly woulda helped but going 0-6 against a mediocre western team while we have limited flexibility is rather concerning.
