Don't jump Ron! Get off that ledge!

This is actually pretty sad, I hate to hear him talk like that. Petrie needs to get this done ASAP.

Too bad Ron blocks more shots than Drew.

I don't think Ron saying these things is all that negative, it actually may be positive. It shows that he is content and willing to accept whatever comes. It shows a great deal of maturity on his part. Who knows, Petrie may even be putting him up to saying these things to get the word out.

Yeah trading Ron for Gooden really doesn't make us a better team.

Juwan Howard was traded how many times?

Recently? Once for another bad contract, and his contract was much smaller than Brad's.

Would a combo of Charlie V, and Dan Gadz get a Artest trade done?

NO way Toronto does that, Moon is a potential rookie of the year.

Are you kidding me? You ALWAYS take the BEST player in a trade, ALWAYS. If it doesn't much up your salary cap.

:o You have got to be kidding! No way Toronto does that??? Saying Moon is a rookie of the year candidate is more an indictment of the current rooke progress than anything else. This deal is horrible for the Kings. Kapono just signed a long term deal too.

We'll do what we should do--wait until the deadline when teams start to realize that they won't be able to compete with the rest of the west, and need to add an Artest-caliber player. I'd be willing to bet good money that Ron's value will be higher in a couple of weeks than it is right now. We can live without a late 1st and we can certainly live without a Kleiza in our rebuilding process. Other teams will need to take a risk on Ron if they really want to seriously compete now, and when they realize that, I think there's a good chance that we'll see a solid return.
