I got that feeling again in the 2nd half.
That feeling where no matter what's going on offensively, the interior defense and mobility is so lacking that we probably won't/won't quite be able to comeback.
I haven't had that feeling nearly as much as last season.
The differences in the game:
- The Grizzlies size and athleticism on both ends of the court. I didn't think this would be so much of a factor, but it really was.
- The Grizzlies defense on Kevin, being shutdown in the 2nd half.
Hey, can we get a significant big man defensive presence in the next couple years? Please? I really would like that. Especially this year.
The oppurtunities are going to be there, and must be taken advantage of. Simple as that.
I want to see this team commit to becoming a legit defensive team within the next 2-3 years. You're only going to go far in the playoffs if you're not. The historical evidence displaying this is just amazing. And, as I've said numerous times before in an extended context, the offense is going to be there with this team, for a number of reasons.
Yeah, some serious, long-term comments here, but it's not just because of this loss. It's just what has to be done, and is how I've always felt.
Kudos to mitch on predicting how we'd go after the Jazz win.

It was just one of those games. We have to prepare for tomorrow.it starts with tomorrow. If we win tomorrow, we go back home and go from there.
btw KIE i know we are better off rebuilding but if We're not gonna get it done, we have to stay optimistic because its our only choice.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.
