Game 65 Thread - Kings (38-26) vs Knicks (39-28)

Post#1 » by codydaze » Thu Mar 9, 2023 11:02 pm

Our second nationally televised game of the season should be a good one against the Knick tonight! Sounds like Fox is good to go so we should be at full strength as well. Last time we played on the national stage we scored 153 in route to a beat down of the Nets. Let's keep it going with big wins on TNT against teams from the Big Apple!

The Knicks make me nervous. Terrible match up for the Kings.

Giving up way too many offensive boards.

Solid first half taking a 16 point lead into the break. Need to limit the second chance opportunities and keep the ball moving in the second half. We went through a stretch force feeding Sabo against Mitch on the block that threw off the rhythm of the offense. When we play with flow we're a much better team.

Let's hope the off night for Randle continues and we throw in some different defensive looks to try and slow Brunson down.

I pray Brown goes small with Lyles at the 5 and keeps Metu on the bench

Sloppy third quarter killing us. Lead is down to 7 going into the fourth. Need to take care of the ball and start creating some better looks.

Fox did his thing in the 4th. Sabonis with the triple double. Kings win.

Gutted out the win in this one, I'll take it though. Still number 2 out West!

Good win but rebounding was absent. Luckily the Knicks are not a good shooting team. Hard to like Randle also.

It was a fun game to watch. Pity about Brunson. He and Hart were keeping the Knicks in the game.

Can Metu stop being in the rotation for goodness sake? Just play Lyles as the back up. He defends as well as Metu on the inside anyway.
If not just put Holmes or Len in there. How in the world have they not taught Holmes to set a pick without fouling and playing in the dunkers' spot by now.
