Opening night Game#1 Kings at Jazz

Post#1 » by blind prophet » Wed Oct 25, 2023 2:25 pm

Well it is finally here fellas. Game 1 & on the road.

According to CBS Lyles will be out, Duarte is a GTD

Utah was 23-18 last year at home, Kings were 3-1 vs them last year as well.

Can we get a game 1 beam?

Hoping to get off to a good start. Going to be interesting to see what the rotation is. Can Colby get minutes right off the bat?

Was nice to see what I think Monte was thinking with some of the new pieces tonight.

JaVale can rim protect some, run the floor, finish above the rim with a lob.

Sasha has to be respected for his range opening up things.

Duarte can D up a little bit.

Hopefully Huerter gets to his usual form here soon.

Good stuff. On both ends. I still want Huerter benched but not much else wasn’t well coached and solid.

Good road win.

Jazz has some interesting pieces but I expect them to be in the bottom 3rd of the standings again this year imo.

In the middle of home renovations so missed most of the game but good to see a solid, big win early on. Light that beam, baby!

What a game. Monk picking up right where he left off, Javale addition awesome, duarte looks like a super solid role player! Sasha and Murray knocking down 3s is going to be so nice all season.

Barnes at his best last night. Hope he can be a little more influential in games this season as an alternative to our "Big Two".
